Gardening Gloves Back On!

The person who knows how to laugh at himself wil never cease to be amused - Russ Dudley
Welcome to my Sunday 💗
Breakfast and Brew time.
Dressed.
Added more washing to the line.
Out for a little ride in Sexy Beast.
Checking the tyres pressures.
Off to see my parents.
I had a nice chat for a half an hour.
Then we went to visit B&Q...
Back home for a much needed coffee!
Wrote a blog post up until lunch.
Time to tidy up the front garden in the sunshine.
I made sure I had a sunhat, sunglasses and factor 50...
Tea at 3.
Back to more gardening...
Hubby put the tea in the oven.
I would have had a nice burnt tan if I hadn't covered myself in factor 50!
Tea is ready.
Showers all done.
All the washing brought in and sorted out.
Time to hang the Skeleton outside.
Hubby had a red neck from gardening in full sun (Without wearing a hat)
His headache that came on, didn't help either.
Sleep Tea time.
Back on the Wobbly Work Wheel tomorrow 🎡

Using My Green Fingers!

People will believe anything if you whisper it - Karl Kraus
Bank Holiday Monday
Welcome to my Monday Fun 🎈
I slept on the sofa to calm down after last night's fun.
I got up a bit earlier than I normally do...
The washing machine went on twice.
Unloaded the dishwasher and loaded it back up.
Hubby came downstairs and gave me a big hug.
He made the breakfast.
I took a picture of the sunrise.
Breakfast with Brew.
On goes the Thermal vest.
Out for a short ride in Sexy Beast.
Checked the Tyre Pressures.
It was so quiet on the roads.
Changes cars.
First we try B&Q for some grass turf.
No luck there.
Next we try Homebase.
None in there either.
We picked up some reduced Lavender plants.
Next to B3.
Time for a coffee and nibble.
Once we finished, we looked outside, and found the turf.
Found something else interesting...
Paid for the turf.
Put it in the car and off to nip into Lidl's.
Got some bits and back home we went.
We emptied the car of the plants, compost, and turf.
I repotted the Leeks.
Bedded in the Lavender plants.
Hubby stimmed around the edge of the garden.
Looks well nice now!
Watered all the plants.
Liquid lunch time!
Power nap time.
Woke up just in time for
Tea at 3.
We put the tea on.
I try and catch up with the blog.
I am still behind with 8 days blog posts.
Tea is served!
Yum!
Looked into today's newspaper:
The lights hubby put up earlier was starting to come on.
I will take a better picture, when it's dark tomorrow.
I texted older son, after that swearing incident last night and no saying sorry, he should move out.
My younger son tried to chip in, and he was shot down, as he has been getting his friend to stay over without asking too, and his bedroom is looking terrible as well!
The older son seems to think I am doing his washing!
Nope, I just want the key back!

Easter Sunday
Welcome to my Easter Sunday 🐰
Plenty of to do in the garden!
Breakfast and Brew.
The thermal vest still goes on.
Now out to drop off some books..
Back home to start sorting out the sheds.
Coffee break time.
Now to sort through all this stuff↓↓
As the sun is shining.
Time to enjoy lunch in the sun.
Our younger son put the storage units together for us.
Then out to collect a Magic Bag from Costa Coffee in Bromsgrove.
Drops younger son off at his friends.
We had a bit time before we had to pick up another Magic Bag from Coffee #1.
Off to see my parents.
Then off to collect another Magic Bag.
Parks on the Car park.
Couldn't get in the Kingfisher as it was all locked up!
Asked for a refund as I can't get to it.
My older son who has a friend working in Coffee #1 says the shop was closed all day!
Back home we go.
The lights are coming on...
We had a nice lamb dinner.
Now to look into this weekend's newspaper.
