Not Giving Enough Notice!

To cut a long story short, there's nothing like having the boss walk in -  Doris Lily
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Not much  sun yet!
Breakfast with Brew.
I put on a light jacket as it's quite cool and cloudy.
Back to work I go....
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
Off to work I went.
I puts on my summer hat and coat.
(I leaves on my jacket, as it's not that a warm)
Goes down to see my lights.
They have stopped working!
Back up the road I go.
The circus is in town!
Gets my newspaper.
Swaps my newspaper for my big stick.
There is a new Pillar Box Topper :)
I cross over the road.
and turn on my lights.
Now to walk down to my spot.
Now for the fun to start!
I put my big stick down low in front of a VW van.
It has to do a emergency stop.
I saw his gums banging when I crossed the woman over.
Gets back on to the pavement, he moves up to where I am.
Winds down his window and started shouting at me!
"You didn't give me enough notice to stop!"
I lifts up my big stick and points to the word
"Stop" on it.
"This is my notice!" and I repeated it to him and kept pointing to  the word stop for him.
He gave up and drove off.
I found out that 2 of the 4 schools are off for a TE day.
Everyone asked how my holiday went.
"Nice weather, and didn't get burnt!"
I stopped one taxi and it decided to stop in the Keep Clear space. The man I was crossing over and to go around the front of the taxi.
Next up came  the saga of the Bin lorry again.
One binman collected the bins from the Parish Council over the road. The other binman went to the Bakery and got his rolls.
Chaos happened.
All the cars were overtaking the bin lorry, then had to brake as I was in the middle of the road.
Some kept driving on the wrong side of the road.
The binman who collected his rolls tried crossing over the road.
He want past me, and said:
"Dangerous road isn't it?"
(It is when you park your bin lorry there!)
I thought.
Just about finished in one piece.
Take a sharp breath!
Once I finished, I popped into the Parish Council.
Then back home I go.
The coffee machine goes on.
I have lots to do.
Washing machine goes on several times.
Waters all the plants in the back and front garden.
Coffee time.
Sorts out all the Blackpool rock.
Puts away all the things I bought as well.
Unloads the dishwasher.
Hangs out all the wet washing.
Lunchtime comes around really quickly.
Liquid lunch time.
The sun has come out \o/
Big big sunglasses time!
Now off to do the afternoon shift.
I gets on my summer coat and hat.
Puts the first set of lights and then off down to the Charity Shop.
Gets some great bargains and has a chat too.
Back to Sexy Beast to get my big stick.
One friend is ill in bed.
The other friend's daughter is really ill.
Collects my big stick.
I sat on my own in the square watching the world go by!
It was time to start.
Not much traffic and not many to cross over.
My Supervisior arrived to see how I am doing.
My hearing and my eyesight is fine.
I did say I could add something to his form:
"She talks too much, needs a gag fitted!"
I laughed at that!
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
In need of a cup of tea.
The washing machine goes back on.
Sets up my laptop as I am a Councillor course on zoom later on.
Hubby comes back and has a sloppy wet one.
Whereas everyone else has pizza.
I have a salad.
Once I was taking part in the Zoom meeting, hubby goes out to see a friend.
Good hour and 40 minutes of a zoom meeting.
Once finished I hung all out the washing.
Looked into today's newspaper.
I felt so tired.
I took my Sleep Tea to bed with me.
I went to straight to sleep.....
(Didn't hear hubby come back)
Hoping for a better day tomorrow!
