Thank You So Much!

If you can't annoy somebody, there's little point in writing - Kingsley Amis.
Welcome to my Saturday Fun 👍
The sun is out.....
We listened to "The Sounds of the 60s" in bed.
UK Top 3 from 1965
3: The Yardbirds - For Your Love
2:The Rolling Stones - The Last Time
1:Unit 4+2 - Concrete and Clay
Breakfast and Brew.
Thermal vest still goes.
Now to take out Sexy Beast out for a ride.
Check the tyre pressures.
Off to Argos to pick up my order.
We tried to get into Sexy Beast!
No chance!
Then a good Samaritan came to the rescue.
He offered to take it to our house.
He followed me home.
He dropped it off :)
We dragged it around the back.
Then off out again.
Picked up my order from B&Q
Off to Homebase to pick another order up.
One of the staff helped us wheel out the trolley to the car and slid it through the boot.
Back home we go.
Gets changed.
Now to empty and take down one shed.
That storage unit has to come out as well.
Coffee break.
Back on to it in the sunshine.
Timber!
Lunch time.
We moved the old wood, to create a empty space.
The chippings are coming on Bank Holiday Monday.
The skip is coming on Tuesday.
We gave a load of stuff away for free.
Loads of people came and took lots away.
We start on the big shed tomorrow!
In for tea.

In Need Of Chocolate Cake!

"Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings." —Zuzu Bailey (It's A Wonderful Life)
Welcome to my Thursday Coffee Morning 🧉
Out comes a great Christmas Jumper↓
Breakfast and Brew time.
Time to add the thermal vest....
With the Minion Christmas Jumper!
Good frost last night, good job I covered up Sexy Beast.
Uncovered Sexy Beast.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 💋before I left.
On goes my Winter coat, two hats and my winter gloves.
I gets the newspaper.
Swaps that for my big stick.
Now to turn on my lights.
Oh dear.
Plenty of Tank Drivers about this morning.
(Tank Drivers are those drivers that don't scrape all the frost of their windscreens and look out of the windscreen through a little hole!)
Plus it being cold, I am glad I have lots of layers on!
At least the sun was coming out.
(Not good for this afternoon, as I am going to have low lying sun problems)
Finished in one piece.
Exchanges my winter coat to my teddy coat.
I walk down to the Public Loos and then to the local coffee shop for a much needed coffee.
Visited the Charity Shop.
Got a bargain boxset.
I gets my cake box out of Sexy Beast.
Then onto the Coffee Morning.
I tried 15 times on the raffle, and didn't win a thing :(
I bought a line of raffle tickets.
Let's hope I win something.
Coffee time.
I bought the Chocolate cake :)
I said goodbye to everyone when I finished my coffee and cake.
Back home.
Another coffee is needed.
Liquid Lunch time.
I didn't get a phone call, so I didn't win nothing on the main raffle.
Now out to do the afternoon shift.
On goes those big big sunglasses.
Big winter coat, winter hat and gloves.
I goes and turns on my lights.
Low lying sun alert!
Has a little rabbit with my friends up to the time I start my afternoon shift.
Oh dear, it went from bad to worst!
In the middle of the road, car comes up the road too fast, slams his brakes on!
Nearly ended up over his bonnet!
Car after car failed to stop on my side.
BOINGs were given out freely!
Was so glad to finish in one piece!
Back home for a brew!
Then it was time to start on tonight's tea.
Hubby came home and had a sloppy wet one 💋
Tea is served.
Yum!
