The Curse Of Friday 13th!

Money may not bring you happiness, but I would rather cry in a Jaguar then on a bus - Francoise Segan
Welcome to my action packed Saturday 🚗
Breakfast and Brew.
We listened to Sounds of the 60s.
The UK Top 3 from 1961.
3: The Shadows - Kon- Tiki
2: The Highwaymen - Michael Rows The Boat Ashore.
1:Helen Shapiro - Walking Back To Happiness.
Postman delivered more Christmas Earrings.
The cake has set nice!
Our friend to look at hubby's car.
Oh dear....
To put the car right, it would be over £1000+
Time to look for another car now...
The car had lasted 6 years!
Coffee time!
Then out in
Sexy Beast to look for another car.
Nice car, wonder how much it is?
Back home for some liquid lunch.
Then back out in Sexy Beast.
Dropped some money round to our friend for looking at the car.
Off to lidl to do the food shopping.
Wonder where I left it!
We had to nip into Morrisons to get stuff that wasn't in Lidl.
Then off to Dunelm.
Picks up my order.
Back home.
Unpacks the food shop.
While hubby puts the food away.
I sort the bed out!
Then I made a cottage pie.
In the oven it went.
We watched James Whale.
Tea is ready.
Sleep Tea time.
Now to try out that duvet cover!

Driving In Some Nice Cars!

It's fast, my Cortina. You could drive 50 miles for a bag of chips in this car and they would still be warm when you got home.
 - Rigsby, Rising Damp
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
As far as Heardle 60s is concerned.
Never heard of it.
(Plus forgot to take a pic of my son's answers)
Time for brew and breakfast.
Puts the coffee machine on.
Now to water some plants in the garden.
Then the heavens open!
At least this was right!
Time for a coffee until it stops raining!
We put some bottles of water in the ice bag.
Now off for a Classic Car Experience.
Lots of nice cars to drive.
Bottle of wine anyone?
The Black MG is the one we drive first.
The gears are really close together.
We get to the first stop in one piece...
Nice drive in it↓
There were loads of classic cars there too.
There were Reindeers too.
Another classic car.
Nice views!
Which car are we going to drive now?
BMW time
Out of the four couples, I turned right at the Crossroads, and everyone else kept going!
It was nice to have the roof down!
Gets to the next stop!
Coffee time!
Now for the final ride in a classic car.
There was traffic lights on the way home.
We drove to Evesham, through Hanbury, then to Bromsgrove.
We had to turn right into the yard.
The other Jag arrived back the same time as us.
We dropped the car back.
Back home!
I did a quick pasta tea.
Hubby went off to a lads night watching WWE wrestling.
I had loads of tidying up to do!
Didn't get the newspaper today either.
However here are the No.1's from yesteryear.
UK No.1 on this day in 1961:
Eden Kane - Well I Ask You.
US No.1 on this day in 1985:
Tears For Fears - Shout!
Sleep Tea time.
I was just heading to bed when hubby came back.
Now to make the most of Hump day!🐫
