After all the rushing about during the week,

It was nice to enjoy a much deserved lie-in!

 We even had breakfast in bed...

 

Hubby dropped off one son for his boxing lessons. Then hubby and other son went for hair cuts.

I meanwhile, had coffee and nibble..

I had to update the blog,

As been far too busy during the week to do it.

When everyone came back...

Once blog was updated,

I looked at whom Birthdays it was today.

 Burgess Meredith would have been been 112 years old 🎈

 He died aged 89  years old in 1997

Clark Gable died on this day in 1960 aged 59

 

Edward Woodward died in 2009 aged 79

I tried to find out if the new film, The Irishman was coming to a near-by cinema....
Nope!
It's on Netflix this month.
*Clearing out some serious time to watch it!*

 Then it was time to bingewatch some...↓

 Then we caught up with:

 I caught up with reading of this week's newspapers.

Back to more ...

 The new curtains for the living room window were put up↓

These fit the whole window,

Keeps the room nice and warm!

We had a nice chicken dinner.

One more episode of 

It was nice to just to chill out and not rush about on my roller boots for once!

Even in bed for 11pm!!!

Welcome to October!

It will be coming up to the second Anniversary of my foot injury (October 31st)

I am have fully recovered with a lovely scar to remind of it!  

We are in for a day of rain....

I hear it, so no point taking a photo of rain clouds.......

I enjoyed a hot cup of tea with a warm hug in bed..

My younger brother has gone silent...

I will give him his precious 48 hours notice on Friday, so he can go round to see our dad on Monday.  

I gave out a round of wet 💋💋💋 to everyone when they left the house.

Housework done by me...

A lovely coffee break..

 Once I finished loading up the dishwasher.

Light lunch time↓

 Now for a little ride...

 

 The CD player gave up after 5 minutes.

So I listened to the radio for the rest of the ride in Sexy Beast.

I had no silver car sitting my arse like yesterday!

 Rob Davis is 72 years young today 🎈

He was the guitarist with Mud and songwriter who hits he wrote:. Fragma's "Toca's Miracle", & Can't Get You Out of My Head for Kylie Minogue (With Cathy Dennis).

While singing along with Mud,

I looked across the fields of fun↓

 

 

 

  I finished with nice red face!

Being called a "Bag Lady" topped it off nicely!

(I have a orange bag with all my stuff in, if you were wondering..) 

I will have to use the CD cleaner tomorrow,

As it was back to listening to the radio back home. 

There was no lorry over the drive today

 One of my deliveries I was expecting, has been delivered elsewhere!

Time to add the red frilly knickers on the street lamp outside my house I think!

(Then on the directions to the delivery company.

At least Royal Mail found me.

My nice magazine has come↓ 

 Coffee and nibble time↓

 It was cold and wet by the time I went to the Happy Place of Work.

Even the winter bobble hat had to come out and keep my head warm!

Once I came back,

The evening meal was done↓

 Then off to work again early with some great tunes to sing -a-long with↓

I got back to watch:

 

  We shared the Vicks around.

Plenty of rubbing going on ;)
