Soggy Glove Time Again!

But enough about me, let's talk about you. What do you think of me? - Bette Midler
Welcome to my Tuesday ☂
Nice big hug to start the day with!
Brew with breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
The weather forecast doesn't look good either for this morning.
On goes those sexy lumo trousers!
Uncovers Sexy Beast.
Just as I gave hubby a sloppy wet one,
Then it started to rain!
The Hall car park wasn't open,
So I parked around the corner.
On goes the boots, two winter hats, and waterproof gloves.
It was raining a bit more heavily...
I turned on my lights.
Now to have some fun..🍭
Lots of rain, and wind.
I had a few drivers doing the Limbo dance under my stick!
One car driver had to brake hard on the otherside!
I was glad to finish in one piece!
I got back to Sexy Beast.
Both winter hats were wet, gloves were soggy, and the top of my socks were damp!
I picked up the newspaper on the way home.
Coffee machine went on.
Now to tidy up the Living Room after last night!
My hat and gloves were put on the radiator to dry out later on.
Living room all tidied up, all the Valentine's stuff was put away now until next year.
I had another letter from a Prison Pen Pal in the USA.
Three letters I will be writing in the next few days.
Much needed coffee is needed!
Now to finish off the bit of soup.
Chicken and Mushroom soup.
Now for Round 2.
I got a spare winter hat, and the lightweight gloves.
On to put on my lights.
The wind was getting up....
A group of teenagers went past me, while I was waiting for my friends to arrive.
One said:
"Can I have a lick of your lollipop stick?"
"The taste is disgusting,"I replied.
I had a rabbit with my two friends.
I said goodbye to my friends.
The low lying sun came out.
It was just that the wind was getting up!
My lollipop stick was trying to dance all by itself.
One car done the Limbo dance under my stick.
I was glad to be finished in one piece!
Hometime.
Now to write 2 blog posts.
I finished one.
Then to put the tea on.
Gave hubby a sloppy wet one when he came home.
Tea is served.
Meat Free Stir Fry.
Then I carried writing yesterday's blog post.
That done.
Now to look in today's newspaper.

When I Walk In The Room, I Just Have To ....

If at first you don't succeed, cheat. - Red Buttons
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Warm hug with Brew.
Breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.....
Dressed.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I leave.
I had to park elsewhere as the hall was closed.
It was quite warm, so no need for gloves!
Turns on my lights.
Now let's get ready to roll...🍭
Cars and vans failing to stop!
Some have to do emergancy stops!
Some parents are still chancing it by crossing into moving traffic instead of using me!
At least I survived in one piece!
Nips into Co-op to get some bits....
Saves £6.05 on my shopping bill :)
Next onto Screwfix.
Henry the Hoover!
While in the queue, I here a great song playing, So I start singing along, the man looks around at me....
He must want to join in I thought!
I collects my order.
The £5 off my order helped!
Next to pick up my newspaper and my neighbour's magazine.
While I was waiting, a great song came on, and I started to sing-along...
The two men in front started to look around to see where the singing was coming from.
They looked at me, and I kept on singing along!
"Your happy!" I was told when I paid for my things.
"I am now after doing some singing!" I replied.
Just before I left, I joined in with Belinda Carlisle
Back home.
Coffee machine goes on.
Empties the tumble drier.
Loads up the dish washer and puts it on.
Sorts out the food in the fridge.
Recycling get put in the green bin.
(Our 3 recycling bins are being emptied tomorrow)
Now for some coffee.
I though writing yesterday's blog post would only take an hour, it took longer!
Right up to lunch, and I still hadn't published it!
Light lunch.
Now for part two....
I was singing along with a great song on the way to work.
Such a Big Tune, it was repeated four times it was good...
The song?
At the end of this blog post...
It was warm enough to wear gloves!
Turned on my lights.
Got chatting to my two friends.
Just before I was due to start, I notice a Argos and Amazon van parking on the double yellow lines over the road where I was due to start.
I said goodbye to my friends.
Afternoon shift.
Still having problems with car drivers not stopping.
At least I finished in one piece.
Home time.
Time for a much needed brew!
I finished and published yesterday's blog post.
Now to get on with tonight's tea.
Opened a cupboard door, my oval dish fell out and broke into 3 bits!
It didn't help cutting open my finger while picking up one piece of it, blood everywhere!
Once it stopped, put a plaster on it, now to carry on with the tea.
It was ready before Hubby came home.
When he did come back from work, he had to warm his up in the microwave!
Four plates were empty!
Quick look in today's newspaper.
Jack Palance  was an American actor. Known for playing tough guys and villains, he was nominated for three Academy Awards, all for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, receiving nominations for his roles in Sudden Fear (1952) and Shane (1953), and winning the Oscar almost 40 years later for his role in City Slickers (1991).
He died on this day in 2006 aged 87.
It's my late mum's 77th Birthday this Saturday.
I have ordered some balloons 🎈 for her birthday.
My good friend who passed away last May would have been 87 on Sunday.
I made him a Birthday Cake for his 78th Birthday.↓
I should a new CD arrive on Friday...↓
Plenty of singing along with this one!
We caught up with two episodes of Top of the Pops from 1991.
Oh dear, the fast forward button was used a lot.
Great number one in the second episode.
Vic Reeves and The Wonder Stuff.
Great cover version of the Tommy Roe number 1 hit from 1969↓↓↓
Out of all hits  Tommy Roe had.
I prefer this one↓
Now to move onto the one hit wonders of the 70s...
Like↓
Sleep Tea Time.
Hopefully will be playing with the new brother tomorrow...

Back To The Bingeing!

Never try to keep up with the Joneses. It's much cheaper to drag them down to your level - Quentin Crisp
Welcome to my Thursday 💪
Nice cuppa and hug to start the day!
Breakfast.
Dressed.
I got kids up ready for school.
Gave a sloppy wet 💋 to hubby before he left for work.
Gave all kids their 💋💋 before they left for school.
I went outside for some fresh air...
First coffee of the day.
I started on writing my blog post from yesterday.
Still no sign of my paint order!
I checked on the delivery, and they tried at 10 to 7am to deliver it!!!
Funny I didn't hear no knock on the front door!
I gets onto customer services to explain where my house is, and gave them my phone number!
Try again tomorrow!
At least Amazon know where my house is!
My white vinegar arrived!
A bit of that went in the washing machine.
Soon after some Baking Soda went in.
It seems to have done the trick!
When I finished writing my blog post.
Just in time for lunch!
While I was loading up the dishwasher there was a knock at the front door!
The Plumber had arrived to do the check on the boiler \o/
"You found me!" I laughed.
Before heading up the stairs:
I told him there was some buzzing coming from the boiler at night, and it's not the buzzing from my rabbit either!
He laughed.
When he came downstairs, he said the buzzing was the fan from the boiler.
I told him "It's about time the Council replaced the 15 year old boiler by now."
He replied,"It will be soon."
He checked the oven, and the gas meter under the stairs.
I thanked him for coming and said goodbye.
Tea at 3
I fried some beef, with mushrooms, onions and garlic.
Rolled out the pastry, added the bird.
In the oven that went.
While looking on Netflix,
I found a good series right up my street.
The amount of stars in it.
There are 3 seasons to binge on.
A new season started on ITV last month.
Time for pie!
&
Judge Ringer
One of teachers at my kids's school is leaving just before Easter. Both kids like him alot.
Ordered a Leaving Card and present.
As when favourite teachers leave, they leave a big hole.
My son is doing a English exam on Creative Writing on the subject Lost tomorrow.
We put our heads together and added more ideas to the great story.
His teacher said earlier that his story reminded him of the tv programme "Lost".
I never watched it.
It just happens to be on Disney +
So my son started to watch the first series...
(Bingewatching)
Hubby was visiting his dad.
I had some of my own bingewatching to do...
I had my sleep tea earlier than normal.
Hubby came back to have a sloppy wet 💋
He gave me today's newspaper.
Hubby started to fall asleep.
I sent him off to bed as I had the final episode to watch.
Brilliant ending to the first series \o/
Time for bed...
Or so I thought.
I couldn't nod off due to excess snoring.
Back to the sofa for me...
Oh well.....
Friday Feeling is back tomorrow 🎈
