Looking In The Mirror!

There is no such as a little garlic - Arthur Baer
Welcome to my Saturday 👍
I woke up at 5.50am.
I got up and made a brew.
I listened to "The Sounds of the 60s" while writing yesterday's blog post.
Sleeping Beauty woke up and we enjoyed breakfast.
Then to wake up son to drop him off at his work.
Dressed.
It was my hubby's late mum's 81st Birthday today.
(She passed away 26 years ago)
Then out!
Drops off son.
Then off to Stratford Car Boot.
We had to park in the overspill car park.
Spot the Eastenders Characters!
Now to look around....
Here is the conversation I overheard...
Buyer: The view is not nice in this mirror..
Seller: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Buyer:I'm interested in this mirror
Seller:Give me an offer for it
Buyer: There is a bit missing of the mirror, no thanks, and he put the mirror down!
I found another Black eyed Susan vine.
Red flowers on it.
It was only £2.50!
Bargain!
Another look around.
I went past a old Singer Sewing Machine...
It looked good...
Bit the hand's man off for how much it was.
It was heavy, hubby had to swap hands taking it back to the car!
The boot full.
Now off to visit Alcester.
There was no price on anything....
I got a card and balloons for my friend who is 70 today.
We enjoyed a fishcake and chips lunch.
Now to deliver the balloons and card!
He wasn't in, so I tied the balloons to the door handle.
(I'm sure he will be pleased when he came back!)
Back home to unpack the car
&
Have a much needed coffee!
Here is a pictures of before my house and garden looked like 12 years ago, and now.
Now out to get a lucky bag from Morrisons.
Then for tea.
Yummy.
Quick look into today's newspaper.
Windsor Davies  was a Welsh actor whose career in film and television spanned forty years. He is best remembered for playing Battery Sergeant Major Williams in the sitcom It Ain't Half Hot Mum (1974–1981) over its entire run. The show's popularity resulted in Davies and his co-star Don Estelle achieving a UK number one hit with a version of "Whispering Grass" in 1975. He later starred with Donald Sinden in Never the Twain (1981–1991), and his deep Welsh-accented voice was heard extensively in advertising voice-overs.
He would have been 91 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 88 in 2019
David Soul (born David Richard Solberg) is a British-American actor and singer. He is known for his role as Detective Kenneth "Hutch" Hutchinson in the television series Starsky & Hutch from 1975 to 1979; Joshua Bolt on Here Come the Brides from 1968 to 1970; and Officer John Davis in Magnum Force in 1973. In 1977, he scored a number one hit single with "Don't Give Up on Us".
He is 78 years old 🎈

Now for some Sleep Tea...
As normal we carried on watching something on Netflix, and fell asleep!
Upstairs to bed as off to visit another car boot tomorrow!

Looking Hard At The Mirror!

Lies are like children. If you don't nurture them, they'll never be useful later - Randy K. Milholland
Time for those thermal knickers to be worn again...
It's a good job I covered up Sexy Beast last night...
I enjoyed a much needed hug and tea!
I gave everyone their sloppy 💋💋💋
Now to leave the house↓

 It's freezing↑
Gets newspaper before I start my lollipop
Billy Fury [Ronald Wycherley], English singer (That'll Be the Day), dies aged 42 of heart failure in 1983.
  Lovely colours in the sky↓
 Today's tree picture↓
I am so glad for my thermals!
Only a couple of cars didn't stop.
I finished in one piece.
While on the way to my coffee and chat.
One car had its bum touched by another car.
One car was trying to touch my arse!
B3 time
 Time for coffee and chat↓
I enjoyed my Webbs Experience!
Back to the singing...
There are nice views of the fields of fun↓
I had a nice RED face when I finished.
More singing along in the sunshine to do..
 Back home \o/

Time for the last mince pie to go...↓
When I left to go on the Lollipop shift was light raining....
One black Range Rover
stopped for me, then changed her mind, and carried on under my lollipop stick, then just stopped a few yards later to look in her mirror at me!
She could probably hear my eye roll from the comfort of her car seat!
The rain started to come down!
I finished in one piece.
Then the sun came out!
I gets home,
Gets changed.
Off to the Happy Place of Work.
Someone had been tidying the place up!
(It wasn't even me!)
I worked over longer than I thought I would.
We had a late tea..
Off to burn it off with some work and singing along with Gene↓
My younger brother kept trying to phone my hubby...
Not even leaving a message...
Must be important NOT!
When I get back, we catch up with the new Hugh Laurie series...
Now to rub hubby's tired body parts!
