A Very Cold Hump!

My toughest fight was with my first wife - Muhammad Ali
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
I had great night's sleep under that warm duvet cover!
Warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Thermal vest going back on .....
Dressed.
I had covered up Sexy Beast thinking there was going to be frost....
(I looked out of the window and it had just finishing raining!)
Uncovers Sexy Beast.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋before leaving.
At least the sun was out, but it was freezing!
On goes the winter coat, hat and gloves...
Turns on my lights.
Now let's do it....🍭
Most car drivers were stopping, I had the odd few that I had to give the BOING to with my stick.....
Most just look at me when they don't stop!
At least I finished in one piece.
I got the newspaper and my neighbour's magazine on the way home.
The coffee machine was put on.
I have so much to do in so little time to do it!
Emptied all the bins in the house.
(Ran out of swing bin liners, added it to the shopping list for hubby later)
Tumble Drier went on.
My fabric order finally arrived that had been sent out on October 14th, the first delivery firm lost it, and now has been sent out!
My large cutting matt also arrived with some Christmas fabric.
I noticed in this week's Advertiser, one  former Manager from Royal Mail has died.
I worked under him in the early 1990s.
I just got half of my blog wrote from yesterday.
I ran out of time as dinnertime arrived.
Lunchtime.
I finished off my third cup of coffee with my lunch.
Now for round 2.
On went the winter coat, gloves and winter hat.
I put my lights on.
One half of where I stand, there was sunshine, the other side had really black clouds!
I chatted with my 2 friends until I started my shift.
The clouds were getting blacker by the minute.
All the parents thought it was going to rain!
Lucky for me it kept off!
Some cars were just blately going under my stick,
Boing time!
I finished in one piece.
The dark clouds faded to grey ones.
Now back home..
I got the tea ready, and put it in the oven.
Time for a much needed brew!
Hubby came back just after I dished up the tea.
(He had to warm his up in the microwave)
We put on the number 2's from 1989....
One good song came on...
(I know it word for word!)
Quick look in the newspaper.
Anthony  Donegan MBE  known as Lonnie Donegan, was a British skiffle singer, songwriter and musician, referred to as the "King of Skiffle", who influenced 1960s British pop and rock musicians. Born in Scotland and raised in England, Donegan began his career in the British trad jazz revival but transitioned to skiffle in the mid 1950s, rising to prominence with a hit recording of the American folk song "Rock Island Line" which helped spur the broader UK skiffle movement.
Donegan had 31 UK top 30 hit singles, 24 being successive and three at number one. He was the first British male singer with two US top 10 hits. Donegan received an Ivor Novello lifetime achievement award in 1995 and, in 2000, he was made an MBE.
He died on this day in 2002 aged 71.
We watched a couple of episodes of Kenny Everett...
Sleep Tea Time
Now to get under that warm duvet cover...

Adding His Name To The List!

I'm too old for a paper round, too young for social security and too tired for an affair - Erma Bombeck
Welcome aboard on my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Warm hug to start Monday with.
Breakfast.
Opened the curtains....
Dressed.
Checked the weather, the rain is coming in, in the afternoon.
No sexy lumo trousers to wear \o/
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 😘 before I left.
Once I had zipped up my coat, I was asked to move my car, over to a bit, as the centre was being used to give Booster Covid jabs.
Moved Sexy Beast over a bit.
Turned my lights on.
Now for the fun to start...🍭
It didn't help there was 2 piles of dog poo near when I stand.
So it was poo watch, to alert people not to step in too it!
Also it's be careful of the older people driving to get their booster jabs.
Some seem to forget they have to stop when I'm in the middle of the road!
One car on the other side of the road had to slam its brakes on or face a tap and crack to their windscreen!
The sun came out!
I noticed more and more drivers are still using their mobile phones. One sat on his, and causing a backlog of cars, as I had gone back on the pavement!
I finished in one piece.
I got the newspaper on the way home.
Coffee machine went on.
Now to get some jobs done around the house!
Once they were done....
Coffee time!
I wrote yesterday's blog.
Finally got my Amazon delivery delivered!
As they couldn't find me yesterday!
Lunchtime.
As normal the rain came in.
On goes the sexy lumo trousers...
I parked elsewhere, as the centre was full of cars. My two friends appeared for a chat before I started the afternoon shift.
We were joined by someone I had yet to meet.
(And afterwards, I never want to meet again)
"I want your job,"He said.
"I will add you to that long list that wants my job!" I replied.
"It's good pay and you get paid for school holiday,"He said.
"It is, but the added danger of getting hit by a car," I replied.
It didn't help him taking the piss out of one of my friends either.
On and on he went. I was glad when he did leave. He was trying to be funny, but he failed as I was concerned!
I said goodbye to my two friends.
I was glad to start my shift.
Sunshine, and rain.
One red car behind me, tried to old trick of moving forward to drive around my hand, until I moved near the pavement!
I was glad to finish in one piece!
Back to Sexy Beast...
Back home.
Nice cup of tea was needed!
I caught up with some of the newspapers from the weekend....
Now to get on with my Stir-Fry....
Washing machine has been well busy.
2 more bags of baby clothes.
I finished reading the weekend newspapers.
I pre-ordered the new Joan Collins's book.
I read a bit of it, and it looks so interesting!
Now to look in today's newspaper.
Jackie Collins OBE was an English romance novelist and actress. She moved to Los Angeles in 1985 and spent most of her career there. She wrote 32 novels, all of which appeared on The New York Times bestsellers list. Her books have sold more than 500 million copies and have been translated into 40 languages. Eight of her novels have been adapted for the screen, either as films or television miniseries. She was the younger sister of Dame Joan Collins.
She would have been 84 years old 🎈
She sadly died aged 77 in 2015.
Christoph Waltz  is an Austrian-German actor and director. Since 2009, he has mainly been active in the United States. His accolades include two Academy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two BAFTA Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
He is 65 years old 🎈
Chris Lowe is an English musician, singer and songwriter, and co-founder of the synthpop duo Pet Shop Boys, which he formed with Neil Tennant in 1981.
He is 62 years old 🎈
I rewatched the second episode of season 20 of Hell's Kitchen.
Now for Sleep tea.
Hubby didn't have a good time with his new snooker cue.
His team got the tin hat award of the night (Lost 5-0)
Plus he came home in the rain....
I kept the bed warm for him.....
