The Thermals Needed Today!

Be careful that victories do not carry the seed of future defeats -
Ralph W Sockman
Welcome to my Monday🎈
Back on that Wobbly Work Wheel 🎑
Brew with a warm hug.
Now to hit the Christmas once more!
Including the most important...
Thermal knickers!
It's cold out there!
I gave hubby a sloppy wet πŸ’‹ after I scraped Sexy Beast.
The lights were on down the High Street.
Looking very nice!
All of the drivers had kept their windscreen clear, except the stinky blue van who was struggling to see out of his windscreen when it went past me.
I was glad of the layers of clothes I had on underneath my coat!
I finished in one piece, and headed home for a much needed coffee.
At least it's dry!
Back out in Sexy Beast for more singing...
I has a quick read of the newspaper.
Harry Chapin was an American singer-songwriter and philanthropist best known for his folk rock and pop rock songs. He achieved worldwide success in the 1970s and became one of the most popular artists and highest-paid performers. Chapin is also one of the best charting musical artists in the United States. Chapin, a Grammy Award-winning artist and Grammy Hall of Fame inductee, has sold over 16 million records worldwide. He has been described as one of the most beloved performers in music history.
He would have been 78 years old 🎈
He died aged 38 in 1981.
There was still lots of fog about.
I couldn't see across the fields of fun.
Christmas Parties in the Dining Hall this week.
Don't you just love Christmas songs????
Except a certain one.......
(Which they played....)
When I got back into Sexy Beast.
It was the mystery year of songs....↓
Gets back home.
Hubby is using his last half a day today.
We have light lunch.
Give him a sloppy wet πŸ’‹ before I left.
The Santa Light above (the lights I turn on twice a day,) was on this afternoon!
A couple had an argument and left their car just by my lollipop spot.
He came back after 5 minutes and moved it.
No dramas this afternoon...
Too cold for any more dramas!
I gets home and finds hubby sleeping on the sofa...
I have a quick lemsip and soon joins him asleep....
Oh dear....
At least I found a bit better,
Still got the croaky voice......
Time to make the Stir Fry!
More Hell's Kitchen to watch!
With Sleep Tea↓
Still going to be cold tomorrow...
Thermal knickers back on!

Making The Most Of Monday!

The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously - Huberth Humphrey
 Welcome to my MondayπŸ˜‹
Back on the Wobbly Work Wheel tomorrow 🎑
Hug and brew.
Woke up kids.
Gave hubby a nice sloppy wet πŸ’‹ before he went to work.
Another πŸ’‹ for one son, as the other one is going in later.
Once I wrote my blog,
I was going to take out Sexy Beast for a nice ride...
Some saw old friends again.
Got one tyre replaced.
(My late dad kept saying, check your tyres each week......)
I got the newspaper on the way back.
They asked where I had been.
I explained about my knee..
They said,"Painful?"
"Very," I replied.
Back home.
Still a chill in the air.
Someone wanted to buy my old pink laptop.
That's Christmas sorted out for us :)
Coffee time!
Quick read of the newspaper.
Frank Ifield is an English-Australian country music singer and guitarist who often incorporated yodelling. After living in Australia, Ifield returned to the United Kingdom in November 1959 where he had four number-one hits on the UK Singles Chart with his cover versions of "I Remember You" (May 1962), "Lovesick Blues" (December), "The Wayward Wind" (March 1963) and "Confessin' That I Love You" (September). In 2003, Ifield was inducted into the Australian Roll of Renown.
He is 83 years old 🎈
Now for a bit of lunch...
With Hell's Kitchen for company!
Then it was time to do more sewing while I have the time!
Whipped up 3 Christmas masks!
Got the stir fry on the go afterwards.
Stir Fry with Pork Chops!
And more..
I had a hot shower later on.
Got all my stuff ready for tomorrow's fun!
Finished the night off with.....
Sleep Tea like normal!
Already to mount that Wobbly Work Wheel tomorrow🎑

Drawing It To A Close!

All growth is a leap in the dark, a spontaneous unpremeditated act with out the benefit of experience - Henry Miller
 Welcome to my Monday🎈
No Wobbly Work Wheel 🎑 just yet...
Hug with brew.
The youngest son was hogging the bathroom.
Nice big queue forming on the landing...
Good job we have a separate toilet room!
Hubby fetched my newspaper.
Gave him a sloppy wet πŸ’‹ before he left.
Both kids had more sloppy wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ before they left to go to school.
I had a quick coffee..

Autry DeWalt Mixon Jr, known professionally as Junior Walker, was an American multi-instrumentalist (primarily saxophonist and vocalist) who recorded for Motown during the 1960s. He also performed as a session and live-performing saxophonist with the band Foreigner during the 1980s.He died on this day in 1995 aged 64.
I had to catch up with my blog.
Two blog posts to write up....
Once I done that...
I had a early lunch...
Now to do a mini Great British Sewing Bee Challenge...
To make the curtain I made on Friday, much wider to fit the window!
And add 3 layers of thermal material to it as well....
On my Christmas list is a metal 60cm ruler,
As I only have 2 plastic 30 cms rulers...
No Tea at 3 as I was hard at work sewing the curtain....
*We turn on all the Christmas Lights at 4pm..*
I finally finish extending the curtain!
Now to see how it looks in the window!
Hubby just comes home when it goes up.
I give him a sloppy wet πŸ’‹ and bear hug.
We have a meat-free Stir Fry.
My Amazon driver couldn't find me and went back to the depot with my order.
They will try again tomorrow!
We watch up to the final of season 10 of Hell's Kitchen.
With Sleep Tea of course.
I hope I'm not coming down with something, as I feel awful :(
