Dancing In The Wind!

Somebody actually complimented me on my driving today.
They left a note on my windscreen, it said, "Parking Fine"-
Tommy Cooper.
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice big hug to start the Hump with.
Brew with breakfast.
I could hear the wind outside getting up.
Thermal vest went on.
Now to leave the house.
I gave hubby a big wet sloppy one.
Parks in the hall car park.
Two winter hats and big big gloves are needed.
As it is really windy!
I had to hold onto my lollypop stick as the wind was getting up.
Turned on my lights.
Now for the fun to start!
A car went past with his side lights flashing.
He went past, and now I knew why.
His exhaust and back box was being dragged behind him!
I couldn't up my stick too high, as my lollipop stick was dancing in the wind!
The wind was nearly knocking me over!
I had my stick out, the car stopped on my side, however, the car on the otherside, totally ignored me and drove through!
The wind was getting up now.
This is Storm Dudley we have.
Another Storm is due in on Friday...
80 m.p.h winds that is going to be fun!
Finished in one piece.
I picked up the newspaper and my neighbour's magazine on the way home.
Coffee machine went on.
Then I got all the apples, apricots and pears that was from the Wonky box from Lidl.
In the pan they went....
Found some shortcrust pastry.
Fruit pie for pudding tonight.
Once the fruit was done, added to the dish, added the pastry on top.
In the oven it went.
Sorted out the recycling, as the 3 green bins are been emptied.
Now for early lunch.
Hubby will take the last of it tomorrow for lunch.
I will make a new batch tomorrow,
As well have another go at making bread!
The fruit pie turned out nice!
Now out for round 2.
Great song I had on repeat all the way to work...↓
On goes one winter hat and gloves.
Walks up to put on my lights.
Then it starts to rain.
I go back to Sexy Beast and puts on my boots.
Then my friends arrived for a nice long rabbit.
Then my friend noticed a crack in my lollypop.
I put it back down, and crack it went!
I don't fancy swinging it around in this wind!
Back to Sexy Beast.
I phoned my bosses about the damaged lollypop stick.
I jokely said,"I will stand there with my hand out in the traffic!"
"You can't do that!" I was told.
Not much sense of humour!
Put broken stick in Sexy Beast.
Said goodbye to my friend and off home I went much earlier than I normally are.
I tried to phone hubby.
He phoned me back straight away, as he was worried why I phoned him while I was duty.
I told him about the damaged Lolly pop stick.
My boss is coming out tomorrow morning with a replacement lollypop stick.
So I do the afternoon shift not the morning one.
The pies went into the oven.
Now to write yesterday's blog post.
Hubby came back and a sloppy wet one 💋
Pie and vegetables for tea.
The water from saucepan is going in the soup maker tomorrow.
Finished writing the blog post.
Now to look into today's newspaper.
