Never judge a book by its movie - J.W Eagan
Welcome to my weekend 👅
I had my 8 hours sleep,
I got up and left Sleeping Beauty to snore.
Cup of tea.
Then to write yesterday's blog post.
While listening to Sounds of the 60s on Radio 2.

Now out of the house.
Drops off son at work.
Now round to wish my mum a Happy Birthday 🎈
Now off to do some food shopping.
Lots of sewing threads in....
We got a wonky box :)
Back home to unload the shopping.
Coffee machine gets up on.
Once the shopping has been put away.
Coffee time!
&
To look at the lovely sewing things I bought.
Caught up with the One Hit Wonders from the 1970's we recorded from this week.
Son wanted a lift, so off I went to pick him up.
Nearly had my car took out on the Asda roundabout.
Son had left work and was walking home, I found out this when I got to his workplace.
Great!
At least I had my good CD with some big songs to listen to on the way home.
I had to reheat up my coffee!
Now for lunch!
Now to open the box...
Lots of blue language to try and thread the machine....
I had a quick play on.
Tried out the letters and numbers.
I am sewing another layer of material onto the Living Room curtains tomorrow.
Tea time.
We watched two episodes of Hell's Kitchen.
Then we went out to collect 2 Magic Bags.
One red van was in the wrong lane on the Sainsburys Island and nearly took out my hubby's car!
Nice moon tonight.
Back home to unpack the magic bags.
Now to catch up with last night's
Have I Got New For You.
I looked into today's newspaper.
William Scott "Jack" Elam  was an American film and television actor best known for his numerous roles as villains in Western films, and later in his career, comedies (sometimes spoofing his villainous image). His most distinguishing physical quality was his misaligned eye. Before his career in acting, he took several jobs in finance and served two years in the United States Navy during World War II.
Elam performed in 73 movies and in at least 41 television series. Some of his more memorable roles are in Once Upon a Time in the West, High Noon, Support Your Local Sheriff!, and on the series The Twilight Zone and Gunsmoke.
He would have been 101 years old 🎈
"GoldenEye", 17th James Bond film, starring Pierce Brosnan for the first time and Judi Dench as M, released in 1995.
Sleep Tea Time.
Now off to a very warm bed!

Can't Find It Again!

Life is a cement trampoline - Harold Nordberg
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Opens the curtains....
The sun is out again \o/
Dressed.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋before I leave.
On goes those big big sunglasses...

On goes the summer coat
(With jacket underneath)
Puts on my lights.
Now for the fun to start 🍭
A 21 reg blue skoda went speeding past me down the road, the car in front of it, suddenly braked, the skoda braked that fast, the whole car shuddered!
A woman driver went under my stick and looked up to see how high it was!
I actually got to stop the speedy while Tesla that has been failing to stop for weeks!
I was glad to finish in one piece!
I gets my newspaper and my neighbour's magazine on the way home.
Coffee machine went on.
I phoned the council to see if I got permission to get my loft insulated and boarded.
I was second in the queue, 36 minutes wait time.
I moved up to first, then it changed to 16 minutes.
Finally got answered.
They hadn't received the form I put into the Town Hall last Monday.
I was well pissed off!
Get another form and send it in via email they said!
I phoned hubby to tell him the bad news!
I went to answer the door, and my son's mobile phone cable was in the way of my foot, I just about saved myself!
Got more stuff for my son's cake he is making for Friday at school.
Second coffee of the morning so far!
A yellow lorry is parked over the drive!
I ask the lorry driver, "Why he can't park over the otherside of the road...?"
"Because of the straps!"
I goes and gives my neighbour his magazine.
Has a chat for 20 minutes.
A member of the Housing department drops off another form for me to fill in.
Then I  write yesterday's blog up to the dinnertime.
I was expecting another parcel from DPD to be delivered here.
(My son was here, if they attempted to deliver it here)
Off out to part two.
While going out of the road, a DPD van turns in.
(I might be lucky this time and get it delivered!)
By the time I get down to my job, the parcel is going back to the depot!
GREAT
I put on the summer coat.
Then go and get a ice lolly.
After paying for the it, I turned round, and not seeing the pushchair behind me, nearly fell over it!
Another trip I avoided!
Puts on my lights on.
Now to enjoy some vitamin D with ice lolly.
I chatted with my friend until it was time for me to start for the afternoon fun 🍭
I put my stick out and lowered it.
One Audi was speeding up the street, and had to slam on his brakes...
After that most were stopping on my side, different story on the other side of the road!
At least I finished in one piece!
Back home for a much needed coffee!
Kettle put on.
Waters the plants in the garden.
Fills out form ready to send a copy of it via email tomorrow.
The tea goes in the oven....
Nice big hug off hubby when he comes home.
Dished up the tea.
Yum.
Quick look in today's newspaper...
Chas Hodges  was an English musician and singer who was the lead vocalist of the musical duo Chas & Dave.
He died on this day in 2018 aged 74.
Now to go and get a magic bag...
Morrison's Magic Bag.
Nice full moon.
Now out to get another Magic Bag.
Now for a bit of Sleep Tea...
Let's hope I have a better day tomorrow
