Circling That Important Date...

Hug with a brew to start the day.
Breakfast.
Hubby went and got the newspaper.
I went back to enjoy the kingsize bed...
Later on I had a lovely coffee in bed with a quick read of the newspaper.
Mike Maxfield (born in Manchester, England) is an English songwriter and guitarist, who came to fame as a member of The Dakotas. He composed "Cruel Sea", a song which was first recorded by The Ventures . The Dakotas later recorded an instrumental version of the track, which was one of the group's biggest hits. 
He is 77 years old 🎈

Now to face the world!
I go outside for some fresh air.
It was so warm, all the windows got opened.
I had my letter to tell me to shield until March 31st.
Not long to go until I have the 1st dose of the Covid-19 vaccine...
Not long until my Birthday either 🎈
I chopped some peppers,onions, mushrooms, and garlic ready for tonight's tea of Smoked Haddock fillets with cheddar and mustard sauce.
Now for lunchtime.
We had to guess the year while having lunch.
I have added own selection of hits.....↓
Then I got on writing yesterday's blog post.
I enjoyed listening to lots of Guy Mitchell songs like↓

5 weeks and 3 days left of Lent!
There is a circle on the calender when Lent finishes↓
Puts the oven on for the tea to cook.
Once hubby had finished work.

Sleep tea time.
We watched the newspaper review.
Hubby will be getting the Daily Mirror tomorrow as well as our normal newspaper and neighbour's magazine.

Wearing Those Red Feathers Again!

Hubby was back on the Wobbly Work Wheel 🎑 
&
 Kids were back to on-line learning for school
Hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Gave hubby a sloppy wet πŸ’‹ before he left to go to work.
(He was picking up the newspaper on the way)
I got kids up ready for them to do their on-line learning. 
I meanwhile had loads to do.
A knock at the door,and my parcel arrived.
Pending return?
Glad they found my house!
New boarder for going up the stairs.
I had to order another one, as 2 isn't going to be enough.
The slashback has finally stuck behind the oven \o/
Today would have been my 18th Wedding Anniversary to my first husband.
However we got divorced in 2011
&
I got married to second husband in 2011 too.
(In the space of 43 days of being divorced!)
I will be celebrating my 10th wedding Anniversary this September \o/
Washing machine went back on twice,
Closely followed by the tumble drier.
All the bins were emptied in the house.
Recycling done.
My mate Henry came out for a play:
Coffee time!
The bread was made fresh by the breadmaker.
I have ordered some more bread flour.
That should be coming in the next few days.
Now to use up the last of the bread I made a few days ago...with my lunch.
Afterwards, I escaped outside for some fresh air.
That's better!
Went onto writing yesterday's blog post.
I noticed on Hot UK Deals email there was a code for £5 off a Waitrose Shopping Home Delivery.
Nice late Birthday treat for me, as I could get delivery for next week.
Did the shopping list, and got £5 off!
Tea at 3.
I finally got blog wrote!
Started on the Meat Free Stir Fry.
Gave hubby a big sloppy πŸ’‹ when he got back.
Tea is served.
After tea, I looked into today's newspaper.
Guy Mitchell (born Albert George Cernik) was an American pop singer and actor, successful in his homeland, the UK, and Australia. He sold 44 million records, including six million-selling singles. In the fall of 1957, Mitchell starred in ABC's The Guy Mitchell Show. He appeared as George Romack on the 1961 NBC western detective series Whispering Smith.
He would have been 94 years old🎈
He died aged 72 in 1999.
We watched Boris live from Number 10.
The we caught up with today's Judge Rinder episode.

Come With Me To Watch The Box!

Breakfast.
The helicoper had returned.
We went back to bed to enjoy the warm duvet cover.
Now to get up,
Dressed.
Out of the house for some fresh air!
We paid a visit to my parent's grave.
The gravestone behind my parents, was returned and filled the details of the man I chattered last March before the first lockdown.
Then off to pick up some shopping.
I sat in the car while we waited.
Hubby loaded the shopping in the boot and off we went back home.
We put the shopping away.
One of my kids found a 48 year old picture of me with my late dad :)

Read  today's newspaper.
Peter  Strauss  is an American television and film actor, known for his roles in several television miniseries in the 1970s and 1980s. He is five-time Golden Globe Awards nominee.
He is 74 years old🎈
Robert Strauss  was an American actor. He became most familiar in Hollywood films of the 1950s such as Stalag 17 (1953), for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. 
He died on this day aged 61 in 1975.
We watched the last episode of "Judge Rinder" on the planner.
Now to carry on watching 2 episodes of Top of the Pops from 1990.

I started on the evening meal. 
Once done, I put it in the oven.
Movie Time! 
Tea was ready.
Another film to watch.
It is called  Lessons in Love for the UK release.
Really great film.
Malcolm McDowell plays Pierce's dad.
He stole every scene he was in.
Great film!
Sleep tea time.
Now to enjoy that lovely duvet again!
