It's Christmas!

I once bought my kids a set of batteries for Christmas with a note on it saying, toys not included. - Bernard Manning
Christmas Day
Welcome along to my Christmas Day 🎄
There was no need to rush to get up.
Still had a warm hug.
Followed by a nice breakfast with brew.
Now to take down the presents...
After we opened all of our presents.
3 new editions along my Minions.
It was time to for coffee.
Hubby then went to collect his dad.
I got on with sorting out the Christmas Dinner.
One son went round to see if our neighbour wanted a Christmas Dinner.
He did and he will have.
Hour later, my Father-in Law arrived.
He opened his Christmas presents and had a nice cup of brew.
Once the Christmas Dinner was dished up,
A plate of it went next door.
Afterwards,
We watched the Queen's Speech.
Then onto Sinbad.
I got on with writing yesterday's blog post.
Mince pie anyone?
Once Sinbad was finished we moved onto:
Then onto....
Then we watched the undiscovered 1970 Christmas special.
A very light tea↓
Hubby then took his dad home.
Now out comes the alcohol free punch.
8 years of being a Tee-total.
Now for a bit of Dirty Harry...
Let's look inside the newspaper.
Maurice  Cole , better known as Kenny Everett, was an English comedian, radio disc jockey and television presenter. After spells on pirate radio and Radio Luxembourg in the mid-1960s, he was one of the first DJs to join BBC radio's newly-created BBC Radio 1 in 1967. It was here he developed his trademark voices and surreal characters which he later adapted for television.
He would have been 77 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 50 aged 1995.
Denver  Pyle  was an American film and television actor and director. He was well known for a number of TV roles from the 1960s through the 1980s, including his portrayal of Briscoe Darling Jr. in several episodes of The Andy Griffith Show, as Jesse Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard from 1979 to 1985, as Mad Jack in the NBC television series The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams, as well as the titular character's father, Buck Webb, in CBS's The Doris Day Show. In many of his roles, he portrayed either authority figures, or gruff, demanding father figures, often as comic relief.
He died on this day in 1997 aged 77.
"To Kill a Mockingbird", a film adaptation of the novel by Harper Lee, directed by Robert Mulligan and starring Gregory Peck, is released (Gregory Peck - Best Actor Academy Awards 1963)in 1962.
Hubby comes back.
Sleep Tea time.
Now to enjoy the rest of Xmas Day in bed 🛏
