Better Chance Of Looking At My Pine Cone!

When all else fails, read the instructions - Anon
Welcome to my Friday Feeling 🎈
Nice warm hug to start Friday with.
Brew with breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
It was raining outside.
The forecast from 7am -2pm was rain.
So on goes those sexy lumo trousers.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one when I leave.
I go and gets the cakes before I put on my Lollipop gear.
Then on goes two hats, big gloves and boots!
Looks like I have missed the rain!
Just my luck!
Wears the waterproofs and the sun comes out!
Once I have put on my lights, the fun starts.
Cars were stopping.
Except for the 4 cars, one after each other didn't stop. The 5th car driver did finally stop :)
The winds were getting up.
That is why I only poked my stick out a bit.
I didn't fancy flying off with my lollipop stick!
Everyone asked where I was yesterday morning.
I told them the stick was separated from top and the bottom.
I finished in one piece.
I go round and to pick up newspaper.
When the Land Rover came up behind me.
Talk about kissing the arse!
Just arrived home,
And it starts to rain!
Coffee machine goes on.
Gets ready for my friend to arrive.
My friend arrives and time to yak, coffee and cake.
Later on I wave her goodbye.
No post :(
Soup time.
It was still raining before I left.
On goes those lumo sexy trousers.
Now to leave.
One Land Rover failed to stop at the road traffic island, nearing hitting me as I was going around it.The  licence plate had 50 FT in it.
50 FT of dum dum I say...
I tried to tie my hat down with a scarf as it was quite windy. On goes the boots and gloves again.
The doughnuts are ready for my friends.
I turned on my lights.
Now waited for my friends to arrive.
The sun keeps appearing.
My friends arrive for rabbit and doughnuts.
The wind is really getting up strong.
I wish my friends a good weekend.
Now for me to start.
Talk about being blown about!
Dum Dum in his Land Rover went past me twice, having a good look at me being blown about!
I gave up on the scarf holding my hat down, as it kept flying off!
I couldn't do the BOING as my lollipop stick would have blown away!
I finished in one piece.
I will have to consult my pine cone for further weather predictions, as today it was forecasted rain from the forecast on my phone and no rain appeared only sun!
Back home.
Now to write yesterday's blog post.
Puts the tea in the oven.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one when he came home.
The rain is back, he looked like a drowned rat, when he came in.
Tea is served.
Yum.
Hubby won't be doing this week's shopping tonight, due to the high winds.

Timed That Well!

A couch is good for one thing only - John Wayne
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice warm hug to start!
Brew with breakfast.
On goes the thermal vest.
Not so many layers as it's going to get warm later.
I didn't even have to cover up Sexy Beast last night either \o/
Off I go.
I gave my hubby a wet sloppy one when I left.
On goes one winter hat and the lightweight gloves as it's quite warm!
I puts on my lights.
Now let's get to work 🍭
I had a few BOINGs to do for those car drivers that drove under my stick and failed to stop!
More worst on the otherside of road, where they didn't even look and ignored the raised Stop sign!
At least I finished in one piece!
I had a good long chat about Crystal Healing with one friend I cross over.
Eye opening!
I told her, hubby is having it tried out on him tonight!
I wished her a good day.
I popped into Co-op with my nice long list.
Hoping I will reach my target and get £3.50 off the bill.
Two shopping bags later.....
Off to get my newspaper and my neighbour's magazine!
Back home finally!
Coffee machine goes on.
Unpacks all the shopping.
Quick coffee.
Then it was chop chop the veggies, cook the chicken, then add the stock and in the oven it all went!
I put it on a slow temperature in the oven.
After all that,
Time to finish off my part of the soup!
A new batch will be made tomorrow, with the stock from the chicken casserole we are having later.
The sun has gone in, and it's cloudy.
No low lying sun to worry about now!
Time for part 2.
I saw one of my friends, I talk to in the afternoon, walking down the road.
He had a small beep off me when I went past him.
No gloves and one winter hat goes on.
Got to talking my friend who has just had his other hand operated on.
We were having a chat about soups and stews.
The friend who I beeped earlier arrived eating a sausage roll.
I said goodbye to my friend with the dog and and my other friend and I went to turn on my lights.
We came back to the bench and my other friend arrived.
We all had a good rabbit.
He then gave my friend and I a chocolate Gingerbread man each.
I will have later with my brew when I get back home.
I said goodbye to both.
Now to have fun with my afternoon shift!
No low lying sun to worry about.
Just in the first 10 minutes, a long Estate Merc done an emergency stop straight in front of me.
I had lowered my big stick just seconds before, and if he hadn't stopped, he face would have touched my stop sign!
He had to wait a fair bit as I had lots of kids and parents to cross over!
HE soon sped off when I got back on the pavement!
Still giving out the BOINGs again!
Finished in one piece!
Hometime!
Time for a brew!
Turns up the oven.
Now to write yesterday's blog post.
Just finished when hubby got back home.
He had a nice sloppy wet one!
Time to dish up the tea!
Yum!
