October - The Month Of Hitting Wing Mirrors!

You don't have to be mad to work here - but it helps - Anon
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Breakfast and Brew.
Dressed.
I takes my rain mac just in case it might rain when I get finished.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I leaves.
I wears my jacket under my summer coat, with summer hat.
The big big sunglasses goes on as well.
I go down the road to turn on my lights.
Goes back to Sexy Beast to collect my big stick.
Now to turn on my other lights.
Let's go to work....🍭
The sun shining and it being a Monday!
Last minute braking, and one car just straight under my stick , for that it had a BOING!
The cars on the otherside not stopping either!
Finished in one piece.
Took off my coat and took the cake around to the Care Home.
Now to drive around to the Co-op to fetch my newspaper.
Back home for a much needed coffee.
I carried on writing last week's blog post.
I wrote 3 up to liquid lunch.
It started to rain just before I was ready to leave.
I talked to hubby on his dinnerbreak.
On goes those sexy lumo trousers.
With added rain coat.
On goes the winter coat, summer hat, and waterproof shoes.
I turn on one set of lights and off down to the Charity shop.
I bought some lovely fake sunflowers.
They are still enjoying the cake I gave them.
Said goodbye to them, turn on my lights and went back to  Sexy Beast for my big stick.
Walked over to the square. The 4 friends were there to have a rabbit with ;)
It was time for me to start.
I said goodbye to my friends.
Here we go again....
I had my stick out in front of me,
one white van drove through it, and it hit his wing mirror. He stopped dead, looking at me through his broken wing mirror. I growled at him and he just drove off.
The next red car that went under my stick, I have history with him.
He mounted the kerb when I was in the middle of the road, Reported to the Police.
His wife mounted the pavement and nearly took me out last year. Reported to the Police.
Then he drove under my stick yesterday.
The third car that failed to stop, kept going under my stick and I hit the wing mirror as it drove past!
Surely I am not going to get a windscreen yet?
My late friend's son appeared to give my cake tin back. Both his dad and him finished off the cake I dropped off Friday.
I told him to give me a day next week to have a cup of tea and chat with his dad.
Finished in one piece.
We both walked back to Sexy Beast.
We had a bit of a yak for another 10 minutes.
I said goodbye to him, and off home I went in the thunder and rain.
Gets back home, The Councillor who is friends with both of my sons, gave me the bad news.
The older son who is at Uni has covid.
The younger son also has Covid.
I thanked her for bringing my younger son home.
I went and checked on my  younger son and he was fast asleep.
I need a brew...
(Honey,Lemon and Ginger tea)
I phoned hubby to tell him the news and to be tested before he goes to snooker.
I took a test and it was negative.
Hubby came home and had a sloppy wet one 💋
He took a test and it was negative.
Tea time.
Hubby went off to play snooker.
(He had a sloppy wet one 💋 before he left)
I looked in today's newspaper.
I wrote three more blog posts.
I caught up with the news and newspaper review.
As I put a photo of me winning the Macmillian Bake Off on Social Media, I had one ex-boyfriend who I dated back in 1989, trying to get back in with me!
He soon crawled back under the stone where he came from!
Sleep Tea time.
I wasn't feeling too well, so off to a warm bed.
Soon went out like a light!

They had a good bag of pears which had fell off the tree.
They call it "Scrumping"

"Yes, and they will meet me tomorrow afternoon for them!"
One of my friends I chat to arrived and we all had a good chat.
