Sunny Fresh Hump!

You can't have everything, I mean where would you put it ? -
Steven Wright
Welcome to my sunny Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice warm hug.
Brew with Breakfast.
I opened the curtains...
The sun is back!
Dressed.
Gived hubby a sloppy wet πŸ’‹on the way out.
Time for the big big sunglasses to go on.
However as it was still cold.
Scarf and gloves, jacket goes on as well as my Summer coat.
Now for the fun to start ...🍭
Bronze coloured Land Rover Discovery with Horse box, suddenly had to stop when I lowered my stick. The gums were going for that.
The sun was out, but it was well cold too!
The stick kept getting lowered,and
Car drivers suddenly brake!
I finished in one piece.
I nipped into the local Co-op for some bits I  needed for tea later.
I pick up my newspaper and my neighbour's magazine on the way home.
I put on the coffee machine.
I go round and see my neighbour with his magazine and something he wanted off Amazon.
I come back round for a much needed coffee.
I wrote yesterday's blog post up to midday.
I chopped up some vegetables for tea later.
Lunchtime.
Round two time.
On goes the summer coat with gloves.
I go and turn on my lights.
Sit and chill.
There suddenly a big rain cloud sits above me.
Then it pours down with rain.
I go and stand by Sexy Beast.
It stops.
I go and stand and wait to start.
It starts to rain again.
I will not go and get my rain coat on as I know the sun will come out and I will get hot under the collar. It stops raining.
Let the fun start again 🍭
For the first ten minutes it decides to rain again.
It stops, and the it's blue skies!
As I was in the middle of the road, just waiting for a parent to cross over, one car starts moving towards me..
(Trying to drive around the stick)
I move my stick further over and growls at the driver.
Later on, one van driver ignored my stick, and sticks his hand up when he goes past!
At least I finish in one piece!
Then off home I go.
Now to get the tea underway.
Gets in all sorted, sprinkles some cheese over it all, and in the oven it goes.
Quick cup of tea...
Hubby comes home, and has a sloppy wet πŸ’‹.
Tea is served up.
Beef Fajitas with cheese.
Quick look in the newspaper afterwards.
Jerry Lee Lewis  is an American singer, songwriter, and pianist. Nicknamed the Killer, he has been described as "rock n' roll's first great wild man and one of the most influential pianists of the 20th century." A pioneer of rock and roll and rockabilly music, Lewis made his first recordings in 1956 at Sun Records in Memphis. "Crazy Arms" sold 300,000 copies in the South, but it was his 1957 hit "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" that shot Lewis to fame worldwide. He followed this with the major hits "Great Balls of Fire", "Breathless", and "High School Confidential".
He is 86 years old 🎈

For the original series of Deadwood, McShane won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama and received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series; for the film, he (as producer) was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Television Movie.
His film roles include Harry Brown in The Wild and the Willing (1962), Charlie Cartwright in If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium (1969), Wolfe Lissner in Villain (1971), Teddy Bass in Sexy Beast (2000), Frank Powell in Hot Rod (2007), Captain Hook in Shrek the Third (2007), Tai Lung in Kung Fu Panda (2008), Blackbeard in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011), and Winston in the John Wick film series (2014–present).

Now To Turn Back Time!

Anything's possible if you've got enough nerve - JK Rowling
Welcome to my Saturday \o/
I had a bit of a lie-in.
Swelling going down more on the knee.
A bit of early morning sing-a-long↓
Now for brew and hug↓
Breakfast.

While hubby drops off son at his boxing lesson.
I had some nice fabric come to make some skirts with:
I give the kitchen a good clean, put the washing machine on, and load up the dishwasher and put it on.
Hubby is going to attempt to tidy up the dining room.
His trainers have gone.....rip after 3 years of use.
He is so lucky, mine go after 6 months.
Hubby fetched son after his boxing lesson.
I wrote my blog from yesterday.
Coffee time
I wrote out the shopping list for tonight's shopping.
Paul and Barry Ryan were  UK  pop singers.
In 1965 they signed a recording contract with Decca under the name of Paul & Barry Ryan. Within two years they had amassed 8 Top 50 singles in the UK. Their best sellers were "Don't Bring Me Your Heartaches", a number 13 hit in 1965, "I Love Her", a number 17 hit in 1966 and "Have Pity on the Boy", a number 18 hit the same year. However, the stress of public attention caused Paul to retreat into the background, while Barry went solo. Paul Ryan wrote Barry's 1968 hit "Eloise", the 1971 hit "Who Put the Lights Out?" for Dana and another of his songs, "I Will Drink the Wine", was a UK hit single for Frank Sinatra.
Paul sadly died in 1992 aged 44.
Barry is 72 years old today 🎈
Robert Thomas Velline , known professionally as Bobby Vee, was an American singer, songwriter and musician who was a teen idol in the early 1960s and also appeared in films. According to Billboard magazine, he had thirty-eight Hot 100 chart hits, ten of which reached the Top 20. He had six gold singles in his career. He died on this day in 2016 aged 73 years old.
Antoine "Fats" Domino Jr.  was an American pianist and singer-songwriter. One of the pioneers of rock and roll music, Domino sold more than 65 million records. Between 1955 and 1960, he had eleven Top 10 hits. His humility and shyness may be one reason his contribution to the genre has been overlooked.
During his career, Domino had 35 records in the U.S. Billboard Top 40, and five of his pre-1955 records sold more than a million copies, being certified gold. His musical style was based on traditional rhythm and blues, accompanied by saxophones, bass, piano, electric guitar, and drums.
He died on this day in 2017 aged 89.

After a late lunch,
Hubby went food shopping with one of my sons to do the neighbour's food shopping.
Once they came back,
Put the shopping away,
We had tea.
I found more books on Sewing.
The Reader's Digest book on Sewing is really good!
Be soon whipping up new clothes!
(I hope!)
Now to carry on with series 6.

With some sleep tea.
Going to have an extra hour in bed tonight \o/
