Oh Go On, One More Won't Hurt!

"I'm not a snob.Ask anybody.Well, anybody who matters" -
Simon LeBon
Welcome to my Thursday 👅
Nice warm hug.
Brew with breakfast.
We were expecting two deliveries of things to do our DIY project with.
First up was Wickes Delivery.
Then it was the Tile delivery.
(Let's hope hubby has measured the walls properly, as don't want to run out of tiles halfway through the job!)
Then while I went off to get the newspaper.
Hubby had a tip run to do.
I noticed a car had parked on double yellow lines when I was on the way back to Sexy Beast.
I also noticed the parking ticket on its windscreen!
Now for a much deserved coffee when I got back.
We dropped son off at work.
We popped in to see my parents.
We had a good chat.
 Then onto Sainsburys.
I have no more room for anymore British Bake Off Books.
Back home to unpack shopping.
Then it was light lunchtime.
Now to carry on watching the rest of Bad Sport.
3:
Footballgate.
Investigators detail shocking allegations that former Juventus director Luciano Moggi influenced referees in a scandal that rocked Italian football.
4:GoldWar
Controversy erupts at the 2002 Winter Olympics when a figure skating judge is allegedly pressured to rank Russia over Canada in the pairs competition.
5:Horse Hitman
Tommy Burns looks back with regret at his disturbing days of killing show horses as part of an insurance fraud scheme concocted by wealthy owners.
6:Fallen Idol
Hansie Cronje captivates South Africa as the nation's charismatic cricket captain, but allegations of match fixing besmirch his sterling reputation.
Then I got on with making tea and putting it in the oven.
My new CD arrived:
Next up to watch was:
Real eye opening!
Tea was ready.
Leeks wrapped in ham, cooked in cheese sauce.
Looked into today's newspaper.
Hank  Marvin (born Brian Rankin) is an English multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and songwriter. He is widely known as the lead guitarist for the Shadows, a group which primarily performed instrumentals and was the backing band for Cliff Richard, and subsequently for Marvin, Welch & Farrar.
He is 80 years old 🎈
Glyn  Ellis  known professionally as Wayne Fontana, was an English rock and pop singer, best known for the 1965 hit "The Game of Love" with the Mindbenders.
He would have been 76 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 74 in 2020.
Then we watched:
Sleep Tea Time:
The Friday Feeling is back tomorrow 🎈

Off It Goes!

I've got hair in my mouth. That takes me back - Lily Savage
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
I had a nice warm hug.
Brew with breakfast.
As hubby had a day off, we both cuddled each other.
I then got up, dressed.
(I left hubby in bed.)
I put on the coffee machine.
Now to get the newspaper and next door's magazine.
I got back, and take up a cup of coffee to Sleeping Beauty upstairs.
Then I have my much needed coffee.
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Then it was time to have my hair cut.
(Getting far too long)
I had a good natter in the hairdressers...
Felt 2 stone had been lifted off my head!
Then into Co-op for some supplies.
Then back home for lunch.
Now to watch some telly!
We finished watching series 3 of Kenny Everett.
(I do hope they reshow series 4)
(After series 4 he moved to BBC)
Now for some more music...
Tea time.
Time for a bit of Netflix
We watched two episodes:
1:Hoop Schemes
A gambler and players involved in a 1994 Arizona State basketball point-shaving describe how and why they plotted to fix games for a payoff.
2:Need for Weed.
Hippie and small-time pot dealer Randy Lanier funds his passion for auto racing by taking his weed racket to new heights.
I had a look in today's newspaper.
"Rebel Without a Cause", directed by Nicholas Ray, starring James Dean and Natalie Wood, is released in 1955.
Sleep Tea time.
Off to a very warm Teddy Bed!
