Plenty of Oranges and Apples To Use Up.....!

I am more alive than most people. I am an electric eel in a pond of goldfish - Edith Sitwell

October
Welcome to my October!
Plenty of things to keep me busy.....

1: It was my late parents's 57th Wedding Anniversary.
2: Warm Hub is back!
3: I entered the Macmillan Bake Off.
I didn't win, I did have the bottle of Champagne, as the winners can't have alcohol!
4: Now to enjoy some of my own cake with a great TV programme.
5: Hubby and I helped at the Royal British Legion Coffee Morning.
I made an Apple and Orange cake, which went down really well.
6: Warm Hub
Made another Orange and Apple Cake
(I have made it, three times in two weeks, and people love it)
7:My late dad's house was raided by the Police.
(We sold it in 2021)
It was being used to grow Cannabis.
(I always wondered why the bedroom light was on in my old parent's front bedroom window, now we know why!)
8: I broke up for Half Term Holidays.
9: From 7.30 am - 7pm on Saturday 25th.
We caught 7 bus journeys from Redditch to Barnard's Green, then Great Malvern, Worcester, Pershore, Evesham, back to Redditch. All for £7 each. We visited 35 charity shops and to Remade Worcester .Over 10,000 steps, and lots of bargains.
10: Attended a Finance Committee Meeting.
11: I popped into a table top sale with only one bag.
I came away with 2 full bags, one suitcase, and loads of fridge magnets!
12: Getting ready for Rememberance Sunday.
13: Eighth Anniversary on the 31st October when I tripped over in a school's car park after I finished my lunchtime job.
I had to have my achilles tendon reattached.
I had to learn to walk again.
8 months off work.
5 months living in my living room as I couldn't get upstairs.

 Roll onto November.....
