Lovely Smell Of Gin....

“Between two evils, I always pick the one I never tried before.”

Hug and brew time.

We went past my late dad's house↑↑
Everyone was wearing masks when we went into the shop.\o/
Walks back,
The wind is getting up,
Dark clouds are appearing...
Back out to visit Lidl in Bromsgrove.
We haven't been since March.
I got my bargain of the day.
Sewing machine threads for £4.99 each↓
 Nice sewing machine going↓
Nice posh toilet seat as well↓
We nipped into Home Bargains for a few things.
I forgot the liquid plant feed.
I popped into Homebase to get some.
Nipped into Pets At Home to look at the Gerbils and Hamsters.
Back to the car as it started to rain↓
Those dark clouds following us home↑↓
Enjoyed a coffee and nibble in the garden↓
Back out to see my mum and dad.
(And to water their lavender plants)
It is my dad's 79th Birthday on Wednesday.
(Already got the balloons ordered)
The man who passed away last month,
(I talked to him in March, when he was tending his wife's grave)
All the flowers were dead that were laid there from his funeral. I put them in the bin.
I put some red flowers on the right of his gravestone to make it look nice with the white ones I added last week↓
The soil on his grave has now dropped down so much, that grass can be laid on top.
My dad will have to wait a bit longer for that to happy,as the soil hasn't gone down that much yet↓↓
 Back home for lunch↓
 Then it started to rain!!
Wrote the Birthday card out for tomorrow's Big Birthday↓
 I wrote yesterday's blog post.
We had beef burgers for tea↓
The fridge smells lovely of gin from the Birthday cake I made.
I got the special Birthday cake ready for tomorrow↓
 Grand unveiling tomorrow ;)
I caught up with the newspapers from the weekend.
We carried on watching season 3 of:

During a career that spanned more than 60 years, he performed not only in feature films but also in scores of television series, as well as appearing on various country music programs and talk shows. Television audiences, however, perhaps most closely associate Best with his role as the bumbling Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane in the action-comedy series The Dukes of Hazzard, which originally aired on CBS between 1979 and 1985. He reprised the role in 1997 and 2000 for the made-for-television movies The Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion! and The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood (2000).He would have been 94 years old 🎈.
