Back To That Funny Hat!

Wednesday is the perfect mix of “wow, it’s Wednesday already?” and “it’s only Wednesday?”

Another sunny day ahead!
I am hoping for the replacement parcel finds me later.....⌧
It was nice to have a cup of tea in πŸ›
I gave out the sloppy πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ when everyone left the house.
I meanwhile had to find out the chief's hat for later..
It was nice to get through Hump day with the help from Deadpool!
I watered the crops growing the greenhouse in my back garden.
Some interesting news....
We are having a new roof next Wednesday!

 Kenny Ball:  was an English jazz musician, best known as the bandleader, lead trumpet player and vocalist in Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen.
 They reached No. 2 at the end of 1961 on the UK Singles Chart, and in March 1962 on the Hot 100, with "Midnight in Moscow" (Pye 7NJ.2049 – released November 1961).The record sold over one million copies, earning gold disc status.
He would have 89 years old.
(He died aged 82 in 2013)
 Don Estelle:  was a British actor and singer best known as Gunner "Lofty" Sugden in It Ain't Half Hot Mum.Estelle had a powerful tenor voice, and had a Number 1 hit in the UK Singles Chart in 1975 with a semi-comic version of "Whispering Grass" recorded with It Ain't Half Hot Mum co-star Windsor Davies.
He would have been 86 years old.
(He died aged 70 in 2003)
 Richard Benjamin:  is an American actor and film director.
He has starred in a number of well-known film productions, including Goodbye, Columbus (1969), based on the novella by Philip Roth; Catch-22 (1970), from the Joseph Heller best-seller; Westworld (1973), a science-fiction thriller by Michael Crichton;and The Sunshine Boys (1975), written by Neil Simon.
After directing for television, his first film as director was the 1982 comedy My Favorite Year, for which star Peter O'Toole was nominated for an Academy Award. His other films as director include City Heat (1984), starring Burt Reynolds and Clint Eastwood, The Money Pit (1986) with Tom Hanks, and Made in America (1993) with Whoopi Goldberg
He is 81 years old.
Steven Patrick Morrissey known  as Morrissey: is an English singer, songwriter, and author. He came to prominence as the frontman of the rock band the Smiths, which was active from 1982 to 1987. Since then, he has pursued a commercially successful solo career. Morrissey's music is characterised by his baritone voice and distinctive lyrical content featuring recurring themes of emotional isolation, sexual longing, self-deprecating and black humour, and anti-establishment stances. 
He is 60 years old.

I phoned up the store to see if I have to send one packet back.
They said "Keep it,as I have had so much hassle!"
Comes back from the other job, to get the evening meal on the go....
Hubby comes back and has a warm hug and a big warm πŸ’‹
Dished up the evening tea....
I wrote out yesterday's blog post,
while my hubby went to see my dad...
Later on, it was cuddle time....πŸ˜‰
Tomorrow it's voting time in the European Elections!

Invisible Parcel Has Been Delivered!

Ahhhhh Tuesday. The day to remember all the things I didn't get done on Monday- and push them off until Wednesday - Anon

I had a good lie in until 7.30am.
(It was needed after the mad rush from yesterday!)
I gave everyone sloppy πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹
I put the washing machine
&
Dishwasher on.
Gave the plants out the front a good water.
Coffee time...
 Followed by a liquid lunch↓
Now to put on those big big sunglassesπŸ•Ά
Woo hoo sunshine back!
 
 I popped into see how my dad was doing and gave him his newspaper.
Back on the road again...

Richard  Hatch: was an American actor, writer and producer. Hatch began his career as a stage actor, before moving on to television work in the 1970s. Hatch is best known for his role as Captain Apollo in the original Battlestar Galactica television series. He is also widely known for his role as Tom Zarek in the reimagined Battlestar Galactica.
He would have been 74 years old.

 Leo Sayer (born Gerard Hugh Sayer): is an English-Australian singer-songwriter musician and entertainer whose singing career has spanned four decades. He is now an Australian citizen and resident.
Sayer launched his career in the United Kingdom in the early 1970s, and became a top singles and album act on both sides of the Atlantic in the 1970s. His first seven hit singles in the United Kingdom all reached the Top 10
He is 71 years old.
Dame  Barbara  Cartland, DBE, CStJ : was an English novelist who wrote romance novels, one of the best-selling authors as well as one of the most prolific and commercially successful worldwide of the 20th century. Her 723 novels were translated into 38 languages and she continues to be referenced in the Guinness World Records for the most novels published in a single year in 1976.
She died aged 98 in 2000

No card ↓
I couldn't even read the signature of the person who signed for it.
My next door neighbour didn't sign for it!
I phoned up the place wherre I bought them from, even the GPS wasn't near my house...
I had a free replacement coming tomorrow...
I came back from my other job, and sat in my garden to enjoy the sunshine.
 (The lawn mower will have to come out again this weekend)
I did a quick tea, as hubby went round to see how my dad is....
I had my lovely sleep tea when hubby came back...
 With a dash of honey!
 Really hoping for a dry hump tomorrow 🐫

I enjoyed my first coffee ...
 Dishwasher

Washing machine went on.
Watered the vegetables in the back garden.
Light lunch time.. ↓
 Going for a quick ride in Sexy Beast.
 
 Pops into see my dad.
I order my dad some new clothes.

James Stewart : was an American actor and military officer who is among the most honored and popular stars in film history. With a career that spanned 62 years, Stewart was a major Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer contract player who was known for his distinctive drawl and down-to-earth persona, which helped him often portray American middle-class men struggling in crisis. Many of the films in which he starred have become enduring classics.
Stewart was nominated for five Academy Awards, winning one for The Philadelphia Story (1940), and received an Academy Lifetime Achievement award in 1985. 
He would have been 111 years old.
(He died aged 89 years old in 1997)
John Robert Cocker OBE,better known as Joe Cocker: was an English singer. He was known for his gritty voice, spasmodic body movement in performance, and distinctive versions of popular songs of varying genres.
Cocker's recording of The Beatles' "With a Little Help from My Friends" reached number one in the UK in 1968.
He would have been 75 years old.
(He died aged 70 years in 2014)
 Louis Theroux: is a British-American documentary filmmaker, journalist and broadcaster.
Theroux is best known for his documentary series, including Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends, When Louis Met..., and his BBC Two specials. His career started in journalism and it bears the influences of notable writers in his family, such as his father Paul and his brother Marcel. The BBC has produced all of his documentaries and television series. He has received two British Academy Television Awards and a Royal Television Society Television Award for his work.
He is 49 years old.
Anton Diffring : was a German character actor known for his portrayal of German officers and aristocrats in many film and TV appearances.Villainous German officers, in Albert R.N. (1953) and The Colditz Story (1955). Some of his more notable roles as German characters were in The Heroes of Telemark (1965), The Blue Max (1966), Where Eagles Dare (1968), as SS officer Reinhard Heydrich in Operation Daybreak (1975) and the match commentator in Escape to Victory (1981), though he also played a Polish parachutist in The Red Beret (1953). He played Hitler's foreign minister Joachim von Ribbentrop in the American mini-series The Winds of War (1983). In the Italian war movie Uccidete Rommel, shot in an Egyptian desert in 1969, he played the role of a British officer of the SAS. 
He died aged 72 in 1989.
