Woo hoo the weekend is here, finally!

 I just caught the last 40 minutes of "The Sounds of the 60s".

We all got up, dressed.

All ready to face the world!

 I got some bargain price curtains from one of the charity shops from town.

They covered 4 windows for £12

 

 We then did our food shopping.

We picked our favourite tea bags for £5!

 While my oldest son was tidying his bedroom.

He discovered his youngest brother's hat he used to wear. :)

And found this about Alastair "Sandy" Gunn pilot who took part in the prisoner of war breakout, immortalised in the film, The Great Escape.

 He was sadly executed by the Nazis.

 We had a nice homemade beef stew for our evening meal.

Sorted out some curtains for the kitchen.

I found some curtains made by my late mum over 40 years ago↓↓
