Time To Bake A Cake!

The French invented the only known cure for dandruff. It is called the guillotine - P.G Wodehouse
Welcome to my baking Thursday.πŸŽ‚
Breakfast and Brew.
Now to leave the house to go to work!
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹ before I leave to go to work.
On goes my summer coat and summer hat.
I walk down to turn on my lights.
Gets my newspaper.
Swaps my newspaper for my big stick.
I turned on my lights.
Off to my spot I went.
The Flower lorry came up the road, there was no room for where it normally parks. It just parked opposite me. The traffic started to build up. After five minutes it went up the road, turned round and came past and parked further down the road.
Besides that and cars not stopping the other side of the road, my morning shift went better than expected.
Finished in one piece.
Now back home to bake a cake.
Coffee first.....
Kenny the Kenwood comes out for a quick play.
This isn't a Birthday cake for hubby's birthday on Saturday. No, it's a leaving cake for a good friend, who works in the newsagent shop where I get my paper from and gossip from!
In the oven it went.
Now for some liquid lunch.
I spoke to hubby during his lunch hour.
Now to do the afternoon shift.
On goes those big big sunglasses.

Summer coat and summer hat goes on. I turn on both lights. Nips into Charity Shop for a look, chat, and laugh. Goes back to Sexy Beast to collect my  big stick.
I sit in the square to soak up the rays!
My friends arrive for a little rabbit up to when I start my afternoon shift.
I said goodbye to my friends.
A few car drivers fail to stop on the otherside of the road.
I made it in one piece.
Back home I go.
Starts on the cake.
Puts the tea in the oven.
Hubby comes home, and has a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
Tea is served.
I needed more bits for the cake.
Nipped down to Morrisons.
Private Eye Front Cover↓
Back home to unload shopping.
Quick look into today's newspaper.
Added more decorations to the cake.
Sleep Tea Time.
Friday Feeling is back tomorrow \o/

The way I went home, I forgot there was traffic lights.....😢
Back home.
Puts on the coffee machine.
Tidies up the living room after the weekend's fun.
Coffee time.
Takes 3 sips and the electric goes off!
No radio, no lights, nothing.
I goes outside and someone from one of the factories, asks if my power has gone off.
"Yes."I reply.
Then I said,"At least I can some acapella singing now!"
At least I don't need the electric to roll out some fondant!
I get it all warmed up,
Then the electric comes back on....
Singing along time!
Covered the cake with the fondant.
On goes the red icing,
Red melted chocolate,
Here is the cake finished.
Back in the fridge it goes.

Now To Start On The Cake!

There are two types of people: those who walk into a room and say,"Well, here I am," and those who walk into a room and say, "Ah, there you are." - Frederick Collins.

He is not happy about them.
I am so proud of him!
(If I got results like him,
I would be doing the funky chicken in the front garden!)
Light lunch time.
My cake board has been delivered elsewhere...
Here we go again!
Has fun try to explain it was delivered wrong!
I sent a picture of my house, and that's not in their picture!
20 minutes later, a worker from the factory pictured, comes delivers my parcel!
Thank you I say!
I put the 3 layers on the cake board with strawberry frosting.
Now to make the final 3 coloured sponges.
