That's A Big One!

Welcome to my Friday Feeling 🎈
Warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Gives hubby a nice sloppy wet 💋 before he goes to work.
I get kids up.
One is going to walk to work.
Now out with the other son.
We gets the newspaper en-route.
The Charity Shop didn't open until 10am.
We looked in the new Co-op further up the road.
(It used to be a pub)
Got some milk as it was on offer.
At 10am, the doors opened.
Picked up one DVD I haven't seen.
Michael Clayton.
Another DVD which wasn't even opened was:
Early Doors series 1+2.
There was Upstairs and Downstairs series 3 as well.
I left Upstairs and Downstairs for someone else.
Now for some shirts for Sixth Form.
4 shirts, 3 ties,suit jacket and a pink shirt my hubby or my other son can fight over.
I got exercise ball to sit on and a 3LB ball to lift up....
Now on to see mum and dad...
I said goodbye to them.
Off to Sainburys to get something for tonight's tea.
Now to get my packet that DPD dropped off.
I didn't realise the box was so BIG
Just about got it in the car!
Back home.
Now to unpack all my bargains!
More things to open up!
But before I do.
Light lunch.
Now to open everything up.
My new Bulldog called Jack!
Opened up my Aldi order.
I can put my other sewing machine in the sewing bag.
The other sewing bag I bought from Hobbycraft cost me £25 in their sale.
This one from Aldi cost me £16.99.
Bargain!
Now the big box has to be opened up!
Now for Tea at 3.
Now to put tonight's tea on in the oven.
I picked up son from work, as he was bringing some nice cake home.
Now to try and write yesterday's blog post.
Hubby comes home for a wet sloppy 💋
Tea is served.
Afterwards hubby went out to do the food shopping with younger son, who was doing our neighbour's shopping.

Now for a quick look in today's newspaper.
Jim Reeves  was an American country and popular music singer-songwriter. With records charting from the 1950s to the 1980s, he became well known as a practitioner of the Nashville sound. Known as "Gentleman Jim", his songs continued to chart for years after his death. Reeves died in the crash of his private airplane. He is a member of both the Country Music and Texas Country Music Halls of Fame. 
He would have been 98 years old 🎈 
He sadly died aged 40 in 1964.
Anthony Ainley was an English actor. He was the fourth actor to portray the Master in Doctor Who.
He would have been 89 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 71 in 2004.
James Brown Whittaker (born Peter Williams), known professionally as Jim Bowen, was an English stand-up comedian, actor and television personality. He was the long-time host of the ITV game show Bullseye, which he presented from its beginning in 1981 through to the end of its original run in 1995. 
He would have been 84 years old 🎈
He died aged 80 in 2018

John Lantree (born John David Lantree) born in  Newbury, Berkshire. He played bass guitar in The Honeycombs. He was married to the drummer of the Honeycombs, the late
Honey Lantree.
He is 81 years old 🎈 
Hubby comes back with the shopping.
Puts it all away.
We listen to some good music while we have out night time drinks.
Then off to bed to enjoy more Friday Feeling 🎈

One Big Upgrade!

Warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed
(Thermal knickers worn!)
Now out for a little ride..
First stop was to nip into Sainsburys to get some bits.
No problem in here unlike Morrisons last Sunday.
While hubby took the bits back to the car.
I picked up my order from Argos.
Now off to pick something else up from:
Put facemask on to pick it up.
Picked up a much needed coffee before we went home.
Gets back home.
While hubby is filling up the bird feeders,
My amazon order arrived.
 
At last a new kettle!
We tried to fit the green splash back screen back onto wall behind the oven.
No luck with no nails.
I ordered some stronger stuff from Wickes.
It started to snow when we got back.
No luck with this stronger stuff either!
I ordered a lighter in weight (Not glass)
Splash back instead.
New upgraded toilet seat!
Now for a chinese meal in 2 parts.

Oliver Reed was an English actor known for his upper-middle class, macho image and "hellraiser" lifestyle. (1968), Women in Love (1969), Hannibal Brooks (1969), The Devils (1971), portraying Athos in The Three Musketeers (1973) and The Four Musketeers (1974), playing a Teddy Boy in Tommy (1975), The Brood (1979), Lion of the Desert (1981), Castaway (1986), The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988), Funny Bones (1995) and Gladiator (2000). 
He would have been 83 years old 🎈 
He died aged 61 in 1999.
Peter  Gabriel  is an English musician, singer, songwriter, record producer and activist. He rose to fame as the original lead singer of the progressive rock band Genesis. After leaving Genesis in 1975, he launched a successful solo career with "Solsbury Hill" as his first single. His 1986 album, So, is his best-selling release and is certified triple platinum in the UK and five times platinum in the U.S. The album's most successful single, "Sledgehammer", won a record nine MTV Awards at the 1987 MTV Video Music Awards and, according to a report in 2011, it was MTV's most played music video of all time.
He is 71 years old 🎈 
David  Naughton  is an American actor and singer known for his starring roles in the horror film An American Werewolf in London (1981) and the Disney comedy Midnight Madness (1980), as well as for a long-running "Be a Pepper" ad campaign for beverage maker Dr Pepper. He also starred in the short-lived sitcom Makin' It and sang its hit theme song "Makin' It", giving him a Top 5 hit on the Billboard charts.He is 70 years old🎈
Waylon  Jennings was an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known as one of the founding pioneers of the Outlaw Movement. In 1958, Buddy Holly arranged Jennings's first recording session, and hired him to play bass. Jennings gave up his seat on the ill-fated flight in 1959 that crashed and killed Holly, J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson and Ritchie Valens.Jennings also appeared in films and television series, including Sesame Street, and a stint as the balladeer for The Dukes of Hazzard, composing and singing the show's theme song and providing narration for the show. 
He died on this day in 2002 aged 64.
