Celebration Time

Mother's Day
We actually had a lie-in for once!
I had some nice cards off my two sons.
  Nice breakfast..🍴
Wished my late mum a great Mother's Day.
Now out for a little ride out....
I'm going to enjoy some Dunelm Experience↓
Now for a nice coffee treat↓
 Hubby did the Lidl shop,
Then we did my dad's shopping.
Got home to unpack my Dunelm treats...
I made a roast chicken dinner,
And my dad popped in for some of it.
I showed my dad my Mother's Day presents...
Once my dad had gone.
We tidied up the house.
Kids got their things ready for school tomorrow.
As it's the Monday Wobbly Wheel again....

Being Well Spoilt!

Welcome to my Mother's Day...
Had a good play with the gear stick.
Then to open my presents off my two sons.
My late mum was in my thoughts..
(I hope she liked her flowers)

There is a favourite quote from Beyonce in the pink book my son gave me.
He says it describes me to a tee!
(It's at the end of this blog post)
Enjoyed a lovely day at Hanbury Hall in the sunshine.
Enjoyed a nice coffee..↓↓
Now to make the most of the rest of the sunshine.
Making the garden look nice...

No To The 1970's Type Glasses...

Mother's Day
I have celebrated being a mum today.
It's been half sadness and happiness.
The sadness as my mum isn't around no more.
I kept her happy yesterday with flowers and gifts at her graveside.
I had cards, presents and a lovely Phalaenopsis Orchid for my Mother's Day.
I had my eyes tested at my local Tesco's Opticians
Great service, and they made my day!
Specsavers have now lost a customer!
I declined the Dame Edna type glasses
and
3 pairs of glasses under £110
Upgraded on the reading glasses.
I knew writing erotic books wouldn't be good for my eyesight!

Roll On Mother's Day....

Dipped back into the past today.
After finding out about an ex-boyfriend's mum passing away last week.
I popped a card around to his house this morning.
I know what he is going through.
As it's 3 years in May since my mum passed away.
I have got the flowers and gifts ready for my Mum's grave for Sunday.
Baked a pie for tea tonight.
It smelt nice cooking in the oven.
It's my last day on the wobbly work wheel tomorrow.
we are supposed to be having a bit of snow..
Better wheel out the snow plow!
