A Cooler Hump!

More always means worst - Kingsley Amis
Welcome to my warm Hump of the Week 🐫
It was still warm upstairs.
Heardle time
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
Breakfast and Brew time.
I gets dressed.
I have to drop off younger son at school before I go to my job.
He has a free trip to Wales :)
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
I drop son off at school.
Gets down to do my Lollipop job.
Suddenly there is lot of traffic everywhere!
Gets out of Sexy Beast,
&
My watch strap breaks!
I buys my newspaper.
No magazine for next door in.
Collects big stick.
It might be cloudy, but it is still warm!
Puts on my lights.
Let's Rock 'n' Roll.
My hubby goes past in his car and waves at me.
There are lots of traffic at the bottom by the island.....
Lots of BOINGs including a man who had his roof down, and as he was driving under my Big Stick, I could have tapped his bald head!
Lots of traffic, and lots of people to cross over!
Finished in one piece.
One of my friends who I rabbit to in the afternoon, was going for a quick coffee.
So I tagged along!
Had a good chat, nice coffee with teascake.
Said goodbye to everyone.
There was traffic lights on the way home, I turned around and went to other way home.
Puts the coffee machine on for another coffee!
I put the washing machine on.
Once that was finished.
Hung it out to dry.
The job I resigned from last June is being readvertised again!

It took me 3 hours to clean the house from top to bottom. I am glad I took all the cleaning products I paid for out of the house, mops, mop buckets and my Henry Hoover!
Repairs my watch strap!
Light lunch time.
Now back out to do part 2:
Puts on my Summer coat.
Turns on my lights...
I buys a ice lolly.
Picks up big stick from Sexy Beast.
Waits in the park in the shade for my friends to arrive.
My friends arrive to have a little rabbit.
Walks to my spot.
One friend goes to work.
The other friend walks down to the Charity Shop.
Now to start.
Every other car is failing to stop!
Lots of BOINGs given out.
One parent asks, "If I am doing a wet t-shirt tomorrow?"
"You will have to find out!" I reply.
One builder's lorry had to slam his brakes on as my big stick was in direct line of their windscreen!
Another car on my side had to slam it's brakes on. I could hear the gums banging when I crossed the kids over.
Finished in one piece!
Back home.
Cup of tea is needed.
Son comes back from his Wales trip.
He tells me all about it.
And shows me what he bought!
Hubby comes home for a sloppy wet one 💋
Tea is served.

Time For The T-Shirt To Get Wet!

If you saw a heat wave, would you wave back? - Steven Wright
Welcome to a Hot Sweaty Tuesday 👙
It still was well warm when I went back upstairs.
Heardle time.
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
Brew with Breakfast.
Got into my white clothes again!
Well warm again!
Outside for some fresh air!
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
Goes and gets my newspaper and next door's magazine. None was delivered.
Goes back to Sexy Beast, to put on the Summer Coat, and big stick.
Turns on my lights.
Now to rock 'n' roll.
There was hardly no traffic!
One dad I was talking to yesterday about not wearing his sun hat, actually did wear it.
It is now getting well warm!
Crossed about 20 parents and children.
Goes into Newsagents again to see if they have got the papers delivers.
Nope.
Goes back to Sexy Beast.
Drives down to Co-op to get my newspaper.
Back home.
Coffee machine was put on.
Down to put my hot feet into cold water.
Coffee time.
It's going to be warm later!
I stay outside until the sun comes round.
It's getting warm now!
Washes my white cotton trousers and puts them on the line.
I leave my summer coat and cap to soak in the bowl of cold water.
Light lunch time.
White trousers had dried.
Takes 2 bottles of water, wet summer coat and cap for round 2.
Puts on damp summer coat with wet summer hat.
Puts on Lights.
Buys a much needed lollypop.
Collects big stick.
Goes into the park and waits in the shade.
One friend arrives.
Now for a little rabbit...
Walks over to my spot.
Says goodbye to my friend.
Hardly no traffic!
Gave one BOING out to one car that drove under my big stick!
One dad wanted a wet t-shirt competition with me.
I replied, "I always win them, and even better for wearing this coat!"
One parent gave me a bottle of water which was nice.
Some parents wanted to get me a ice-cream.
I had to decline as I'm not allowed to eat while I am on duty.
One Grandparent walked past me and said:
"I miss your dad!"
I replied to him, "So do I!"
While I was crossing a dad over, he was telling is child, they were going to visit his granddad.
The child said "No!"
I replied,"No means yes!"
The dad laughed, and said:
"See if Granddad has any ice-cream!"
"Don't forget to jump on Granddad!" I replied.
Finished in one piece.
Now back home!
Straight into a cold shower when I got back.
Followed by a much needed ice lolly and cold drink!
Gave hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
