How Much For A Christmas Tree??????

Normally when I'm on holiday and I'm asked what I do,I say that I'm a traffic warden. That makes me much more popular - Steve Pound, MP
Welcome to the Friday Feeling 🎈
Hug with a brew.
Breakfast.
Opened the curtains...
The sun might be coming up,
The thermal vest is still going on!
I give hubby a sloppy wet 😘 before I left.
Four layers go on under my coat.
I puts on my lights.
Now for the fun to start...🍭
As the High School wasn't open, the was not a lot of traffic, until later on.
My boss came down to see me, and tell me she is retiring in December :(
I told her of all the fun I have been having...
She can't believe it!
I said my goodbye to her.
I finished in one piece.
Now onto to B3..
Now for coffee, nibble and chat.
I don't normally have my bacon sandwich with one slice of bread buttered.Plus the bacon was a bit salty.
On the way out I saw a couple I chat to while doing my Lollipop Job.
"Very small world, "I said to them.
I felt terrible on the way home.
Now for a lemsip...
A quick power nap.
Once I woke up I found better.
Now the final shift of the week.
I noticed I was been following all the way to work. I tried to lose the car, and it was still following me.I suddenly turned off, and it was too late for them to follow me down a side road.
I parked up and talked to a lovely man with his dog.We had a good yak for 20 minutes.
I wished him a good weekend.
Now to put on the Winter Coat!
I put on my lights.
Now for a good rabbit with my friends.
One friend I normally yak with, went past in his car and wished me a good week off!
Now to start for the final shift.
Cars were actually stopping!
I had a good time!
Finished in one piece.
Now back home.
Hubby came home early,
Son walked back from work.
My neighbour was dropped back from the hospital in a taxi, and needed help to get back into his house.
(I have his spare key)
We got him into the house, and made him comfortable.
I then shopped for the tools needed for the DIY project that is going to happen in a few weeks....
Ordered a curtain rail from Dunelm.
Yellow buckets from Wickes.
(Going to pick them up tomorrow)
Tea time.
Hubby went and done a small shop from Lidl.
I helped him put it away when he came back.

Nice Warm Friday Feeling!

You don't have to be mad to work here, but it helps - Anon
Welcome to join in with my Friday Feeling 🎈
Nice to enjoy a warm hug
with a hot brew.
Breakfast.
Opened the curtains...
Nice sunny day ahead...
Dressed.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet 😘 before I go.
The place where I normally park wasn't open.
I parked in the nearby car park.
I put my jacket on under my Summer Coat.
Now for the Friday fun...🍭
I kept hearing Agadoo
My phone kept ringing....
It was ex-plum.....
(As I'm on duty, I'm not allowed to answer my phone!)
I stopped the brown car that thought it was funny to try and run me over a few afternoons again.Didn't find it funny.
Then on the return leg, she got stopped again.
Some cars were going too fast, and when my stick gets lowered, the brakes have to been slammed on!
I finished in one piece.
I answered Ex-Plum with a text message with OK.
Now to get to Webbs...
I go through Hanbury....
I missed my B3 space...
Meets up with my friend for coffee, nibble and yak!
Then it's time to look around...
Christmas is coming....↑↑↑
Back to Sexy Beast....
Said goodbye to my friend.
I went past Bromsgrove Morrison's petrol station, there was a massive queue for petrol.....
I remember back in 2000 when it was like that........
Back home.
Light lunch.
My son dressed as Where is Wally comes back with some of the cake he made.
All his 6th Form Year gave him an applause when he got into school for dressing up as Where is Wally.
Now for me to leave....

On goes the Summer coat.
I get a ice lolly.
Then I put on my lights.
I collect my lollipop stick,
And enjoys the sunshine.
Now to start the afternoon shift...🍭
It wasn't as bad as last Friday afternoon, not by a long shot. Still cars braking the last minute when I either lower the stick down, or I stood in the middle of the road!
I finished in one piece.
Back home.
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Hubby came back with some Fish and Chips with Curry sauce!
I gave him a sloppy wet 💋
Hubby dropped off one son at his football, then carried on to the shopping with our other son.
I meanwhile had some newspaper reading to catch up with!
Gerry Marsden MBE  was an English singer-songwriter, musician and television personality, best known for being leader of the Merseybeat band Gerry and the Pacemakers. He was the younger brother of fellow band member Freddie Marsden.
Gerry and the Pacemakers had the distinction of being the first act to have their first three recordings go to number 1 in the UK charts. Although they never had a number 1 in the United States, they were the second-most successful group from Liverpool, after the Beatles, to have hits on the United States pop charts. Their 1965 musical film Ferry Cross the Mersey was co-written by Tony Warren.
He would have been 79 years old🎈
He died in 2021 aged 78 years old.
