Spotting The Tank Drivers!

The easiest way to find something you have is to buy a replacement - Rosenbaum's Law
(Cold Feet Theme tune)
Welcome to a cold Thursday 🌋
Nice warm hug with kiss.
Brew with Breakfast.
Thermal vest.
Plus Christmas themed dress goes on.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I leave.
I'm glad my gloves were dry over night.
As it was freezing.
Two winter hats, gloves, and coat done right up.
Puts on my lights,
Now let's go to work!
While I am stood there,
2 tanks went past.
(I call them tanks, as they just about clean their windscreen to peer through the gap they just cleaned!)
Traffic was building up on my side.
I had at least two cars stop in the Keep Clear area, and I have to walk behind them to cross people over!
I was glad to finish in one piece.
I picked up the newspaper on the way home.
Put's on the coffee machine.
Second door on the Advent Calender is:
Now to burn off some stress!
Good 20 minutes warming up the abs.
Now to drag out the Spin Bike.
Done another 20 minutes.
That's better.
Now for some coffee...
I writes yesterday's blog all the way to lunch.
Need something to keep me warm.
Now for part two.
Put on 2 winter hats and gloves.
I put on my lights.
Meet up with my 2 friends for a rabbit.
I said goodbye to them.
Now for the fun to start.
Bedlam started.....
No one was stopping, going straight under my stick, one car driver, drove around my lowered stick and nearly took out the two lights are in the middle of the road!
I think everyone has had the Friday Feeling too early!
I was glad to have finished in one piece after this!
Hometime.
Time for much needed Hot Chocolate!
Now to get the tea on the go.
Put's it in the oven.
Back to catching up with my book I was reading.
The tea is ready.
Afterwards had a look into today's newspaper.

Soggy Glove Time!

A dress has no meaning unless it makes a man want to take it off - Francoise Sagan.
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice warm hug to start the Hump with.
Brew with Breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
Dressed.
(Several layers!)
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I leave.
It's the first of December.
Santa Hat month!
On goes 2 winter hats and gloves.
Turns on my lights.
Now's let go to work...🍭
I was walking to my spot, when two High School teenagers were trying to cross over the road.
No cars would stop.
I got to my spot, and lifted my stick in the air.
The traffic stopped!
Perhaps this will carry on....
And it did.
Not one car went under my stick, all stopped!
It must be the sun's rays doing something!
I finished in one piece.
I nipped into Co-op.
I had no problems like last week.
Then I got the newspaper and next door's magazine.
Back home.
I put up my Advent Calender.
The first tea is:
My friend came to enjoy coffee, cake and yak.
We had a good chat, and waved goodbye.
She came back 5 minutes later as she forgot to get the peas I had put in my freezer.
I needed something hot for my lunch.
That's better!
There were some dark clouds, but I didn't think I would need to wear those sexy lumo trousers.
To play safe, I put on my boots, with 2 winter hats and gloves.
I put on my lights and walked back for a yak with my 2 friends.
One offered me a mince pie.
I said no.
The other friend offered me a doughnut.
I had to say no.
I laughed and said:
"I don't want the 5th chin returning thanks!"
Then I saw the dark cloud...
10 minutes before I was due to start,
The rain started.
We got under some shelter before I was due to start.
Once it was time, I said goodbye to my friends.
The rain kept coming.
All the car drivers going past looked at me getting wet.
Getting soggy gloves by the minute!
At least the car drivers were stopping for me.
The rain stopped just before I finished.
Hometime.
On the way home, one car behind for half a mile didn't put on his headlights on until the car behind him kept flashing him.
Then he decided to sit on my arse the rest of the way!
I was glad to get home.
It had started to rain again.
I still covered up Sexy Beast, as the temperatures were going to fall during the early hours and a frost was due!
My kids then told me about the fun of the Sixth Form Quiz they both entered.
The younger son had got all the Christmas Songs and the artists, but the teacher wouldn't accept them as his team won the previous round.
I was proud of them both for all of their answers to the questions.
(I am glad I keep playing Christmas songs in the house!)
 Hot Chocolate time!
I put the tea in the oven.
Now to get yesterday's blog post wrote.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 when he came home.
Tea was dished up.
Posted blog post.
Now for a little look in today's newspaper.
Matt Monro (born Terence Edward Parsons)  was an English singer who became one of the most popular entertainers on the international music scene during the 1950s and 1970s. Known as The Man with the Golden Voice, he filled cabarets, nightclubs, music halls, and stadiums across the world in his 30-year career. AllMusic has described Monro as "one of the most underrated pop vocalists of the '60s", who "possessed the easiest, most perfect baritone in the business". His recordings include the UK Top 10 hits: "Portrait of My Love", "My Kind of Girl", "Softly As I Leave You", "Walk Away" and "Yesterday" (originally by The Beatles). He also recorded several film themes such as "From Russia with Love" for the James Bond film of the same name, "Born Free" for the film of the same name and "On Days Like These" for The Italian Job
He would have been 91 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 54 in 1985.
While hubby did his working out on the abs machine, and had a shower.
I carried on reading the book about the filming of The Godfather.
Sleep Tea Time.
Another 100 pages read.
Only hoping the sunshine will be back tomorrow.
Soggy gloves had just about dried out......
