Amazing Who You Meet At The.....

I'm on a whisky diet. I've lost three days already - Tommy Cooper
Welcome to my Sunday ๐Ÿ’—
Brew with hug.
Breakfast.
Our son had his Birthday request read out on the local radio. He also had a Beatles record played for him as well...
Dressed.
Now to check the tyre pressures on Sexy Beast.
Then off to say hello to my parents...
While we were sat down on the bench, my brother paid for:
Someone parked behind Sexy Beast and went over to put flowers on the grave, of the man I chatted to last March before the first Lockdown.
When he came away, I told him I chatted to his dad before the first lockdown, a good 45 minute chat we had, and then next time I came up here, he had passed away.
His son said, it was the first year anniversary of his dad passing away.
(He got a bit upset)
If he wondered who had put flowers on his dad's grave last year, it was me.
He thanked me for that.
I said I would water the plants if they are dry at the weekends I come up.
He thanked me for doing that.
Then off to Co-op to get some bargains.
A couple had two baskets of reduced food.
We didn't need that much.
We only got a bit.
Time for coffee!
Back home for lunch.
I read today's newspaper.
Then to write yesterday's blog post.
After that, I put tonight's tea in oven for later.
Then we caught up with last week's Dragon's Den.
Tea is served!
I got my stuff ready for tomorrow's
"Wobbly Work Wheel ๐ŸŽก"
A early night is called for......

Points Don't Mean Prizes!

Simon LeBon.
Welcome to my Saturday ๐Ÿ’ช
Hug with brew.

"Sounds of the 60s".
Breakfast.
Both kids were up...
Now out of the house.
Drops off one son at his workplace.
Off to Lidl.
There was a nice t.v for sale in Lidl.
It wouldn't fit on our tv stand even if we wanted it!
I did a bit of shopping to get the £10 voucher for next week.
Now to park in the Asda car park.
Off to look in the Charity Shops.
The Town Crier was giving a good shout out!
Now to hit the shops.
I got some great bargains...
I popped into Costa Coffee for a drink.
I don't mind waiting.
The 3 members of staff was rushed off their feet.
The woman in front of me, her bill came to £5.90, she handed over a piece of paper and then the total went to £0.
Then she wanted points added onto her Costa Coffee account. The staff tried and couldn't do it.
She wasn't happy about it!
(Karen alert!)
I got my coffees and left the shop.
I got some 50s CDs for £1.
Found a older version of my Kenny in one Charity Shop↓
Then we heard Bagpipes...
Then we saw
Sajid Javid, the MP for Bromsgrove.
This is what was going on in the High Street.
I saw a nice hat in the shop window.
I went in, bought the multi-coloured hat
&
Blue one.
Dropped off the bargains in the car.
Quick look in Asda...
There were some nice Ghomes on the way out.
On the way home, we got another coffee with doughnuts....
Back home to unpack everything...
Time to have a doughnut!
Hubby went to pick up son from his workplace.
The Daily Star had a funny front page.
(Free facemask)
I added more things to tree..↓
I wrote two blog posts.
Now for a nice tea....
Then we watched Oceans 13.
The Health Minister has now resigned over the scandal...
Sajid Javid is now the Health Minister.
Sleep Tea time.
Now it's time to make the most of Saturday Night in a warm bed with warm hands!

The big big sunglasses came out too!
On goes the Summer Coat.
Tree shot↑↑
My lollypop boss came to visit me.
One car had to slam their brakes on, or the lollypop stick would have smacked their windscreen.
I had a few near misses of car going under the lollypop stick.
It seems to be getting worst especially in the afternoons, I told her.
I said my goodbye, she left, and I finished 10 minutes later in one piece!
Back home.
I had my plant pots arrive!
Now for coffee...
The cake supplies were delivered as well.
(Just in time to make the cake for Tuesday!)
Now to put on the gardening gloves..
Now to repot the plants with the help of 225 litres of compost.
3 hours later...
My other crochet blanket arrived.
(It is being used to cover the one remaining sofa arm)
Light lunch.
I dropped off son at his job.
Now to do the last shift of the lollipop of the week.
The summer coat goes on.
I get a bottle of water, as it is getting quite warm.
While waiting in the park, someone blasting some music, I could do better...
Which I did....
Sharing the Friday Feeling ๐ŸŽˆ
Now for the fun to start...
One car driver had to slam their brakes on, as they would have gone for the actual lollipop pole!
It was starting to get warm again.
Finished in one piece.
My friend turned up with his dog for a quick chat!
Wished him a good weekend afterwards.
Back home.
Younger son has cut back the bush...
I had a nice coffee in the garden.
All the branches were put in a spare rubble bag I had in the back garden.
Popped into Sainsburys while I waited for son to walk back from work.
Gets back home.
Puts the tea in the oven.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet ๐Ÿ’‹ when he returned home.
Tea is served up!
Hubby went off to do the shopping with younger son, while I enjoyed a lovely bath!
Hubby came back, he needs only £4 more to spend at Lidl to get £10 off next week.
(A little visit to Lidl tomorrow!)
We caught up on the news including the photos and video of  the Government Health Minister and his aide.
Tomorrow's front page of the Star is brilliant!
Now to enjoy the remaining Friday Feeling๐ŸŽˆ
