Enjoyed a cup of tea in bed...

 Went back in for a short lie-in....

Once up and trying to get kids up..

It was coffee and vitamin C time..

The walking leggings are on and ready...

 

 

 We walked around the lake...

We took the long way round.

Back home for early lunch.

Back out again..

 

 

 We got there too late to buy a Duck for the Duck Race.

 Hubby went off to watch which duck finished first.

I had a look around the gardens.

 

 

 We got bought some books out of the Book Shop.

We even enjoyed a nice coffee...

I gets back to go to Job

While I was there, he got some shopping in.

We were going to attempt to make homemade Chicken Chow Mein...

 I went to see my friend whose Birthday it was. Had a chat and coffee for a good 50 minutes..

She loved her card..😁

I popped to see my dad...

*There was a hunky actor on the television..*

 

 My dad,hubby or father-in-law didn't recognise the actor....

 Goes to Job.

Got chatting to one of the workers while I was cleaning their kitchen.

He said,"He hasn't been called his real name all day, while working."

I replied to that,"If I got called those names and not my real name, they wouldn't be able to find the body......"

At least I got a laugh....

Then I cleaned the other kitchen, and I was telling about the hunky man I watched on television earlier to another co-worker...

She said she doesn't like muscles...

I laughed, and replied..

"Give me a muscle, and watch it grow!" 

Back home to chop chop.. 

 Sausages, cheesey mash, and peas.

We found another baking series on Netflix.

 The new series of The Great British Bake Off is back on August 28th at 8pm...\o/

 Best to find my walking shoes out...

Back on the wobbly walking wheel tomorrow...

Shaking off those weekend cobwebs..

 Nice to celebrate Monday with coffee and marmite on toast!↓↓

 While my kids walked over to see their granddad.

My baking hand was itching once more....

I raided the freezer for all the fruit we have picked off our trees and near-by bushes...

Into the saucepan they went...

I blind baked the pastry...

Once in the tart and filling was ready,

In the oven it went.

Now to enjoy some breath of fresh air...

Amazing what you can find in the bottom of the freezer...

Last minute Birthday card will be made tomorrow.......

Welcome to a lazy Sunday..

I had a little lie-in..

 Followed by breakfast..

Out for some fresh air...

It didn't help it started to rain...🌧

 Dropped off my dad's newspaper..

While I went to job,

Hubby had a quick play with Henry...

 When I got back to finish doing my chores.

Hubby went for a walk up the town with older son to fetch some supplies from Poundland.

When he got back we enjoyed a nice light lunch.

We are waiting to hear if our council exchange to Lytham St Annes near Blackpool is going to go ahead....

It's only 144 miles away from Redditch.

New start for all of us. \o/

 The sooner the better, as we have to get the kids into the nearby schools. 

Planned a nice evening meal.

 Morroccan Meatballs with Gravy & Vegetables.

 I sorted out the chocolate cake, that hubby is taking to work tomorrow.

 I know it is a bit late for cupcake day.

Hopefully can still make some money for a good cause.

Making two Birthday cards tomorrow...
