Trying It, Leaving It, Then Singing It.

The wobbly Monday wheel is back...

I was up early enjoying a sneaky cuppa..

Hubby is back to work,

The kids are back to school..\o/

The snow is slowly leaving us...

 I gave everyone a big 💋

Before they all left.

Done a mass tidy up.

All the windows open to let some fresh air in.

That better!

Nibbles time..↓

 I started on a Poetry course at last...

After two hours of brain burn...

Lunch is needed!

 My gifts for my mum for Mother's Day arrived.

I am now completed the third of the eleven parts of the Poetry Course...

I'm leaving it now until tomorrow.

I need to rest the brain....

Just going to chill to some nice 70's music, 

and

Perhaps some light singing along too....

 

 

 

Waxing The Hook...

I got up far too early for a Sunday..

 Nibble time...

 I was making a good friend's Get Well Card,

As I am dropping in to see her later in hospital.

Coffee and crochet hook primed and ready.

 Card done \o/

The temperature outside is going ↑↑↑

Now to have a little ride to hospital...

 The snow going at last..

 Magazines and card ready to be dropped off..

 Breathing in some fresh air...

After having a good yak,

With my friend and a Nurse I made friends with while I was in the same Ward.

Hubby went to do the food shopping in Lidl.

Beg steal or borrow a loaf of bread!!

Looks like my breadmaker has to be dusted down and the plug re-attached...

 Going going going?

 It starts to rain...

 Then we have a double rainbow 🌈

 We had a nice shepherd's pie with sliced potatoes.

(As my kids don't like mashed potato!)

Then kids had to get all the school things ready for tomorrow..

(lots of groans soon followed)

I will be starting my Poetry course while the house is quiet.

(Not much chance of there being quiet, while I do my little sing-a-longs...)

 

 

Trying Not To Sing Too Loud..

By the time my head hit the pillow it was 1am.

Pity I set the alarm for 6am,

To listen to the "Sound of the 60s"

I jumped into a hot shower afterwards.

Used up some nice things in the fridge.

 Hubby took the kids to do my dad's shopping.

I meanwhile had lots of tidying up to!

Of course Alexa had to play some good tunes to listen and sing along to ....

Moved the Living Room around again...

Found two baskets of magazines under the sideboard. 

More sorting out to do...

 Hopefully the snow will be long gone tomorrow....

As I am visiting my friend in hospital

Don't fancy slipping over 

Then being re-admitted into hospital..

Better not sing too loud

Don't want to get too wet either!

Making Full Use Of The Battery...

Welcome to a Snowed in Friday!

I got up at normal time for a cup of tea.

 Kids were at home.

(Their schools were closed)

I looked outside..

 Hubby couldn't even get to work...

Now to make full use of the mouth battery...

After coffee & nibbles...↓

Hubby and kids went for a play in the snow..

I had a little bit of washing to do...

& 

To catch up with series 16 of..

The snow started again..

With this Winter Wonderland...

At least the lights still work...\o/

The Birthday present is now hung up ↓

Giving Them A Good Bang!

I had far too much Birthday excitment yesterday, needed some sleepy tea to get back off to sleep Zzzzz

(The wind was giving my wind chimes a good bang!) 

One son stopped home

(His school was still shut)

The other son had to go to school

(He is hoping the school will be closed tomorrow)

Still freezing with dollops of snow..↓↓

 My Birthday cards look nice in the window↓

 Now for a little nibble...

Replaced all the net curtains in the kitchen..

Put warmer curtains up as well.

Now to do some chopping for evening meal.

Dished it up...

Hunter Chicken with rice.

It took hubby 90 minutes to get back from work

(It normally takes him 45 minutes)

Looks like I going to have company tomorrow....

Time to charge the mouth battery....:)
