Walking We Will Go....

Another night enjoying the king size bed instead of the sofa....\o/
We were up early to do our daily walk..
But first↓
 Brew and Hug time↑
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Out for a longer walk↓

 Scrap metal anyone?↑

 My brother has repainted the garage door white. Hopefully there will be a For Sale board up soon↑

Up the steps we go.
We get our newspaper,
And now to walk back.
Over the bridge we go↗↗ 


 Under another bridge↑
 Nice mini-van↑
 Gets home after 45 minutes.
We drops off our sons for their little walk.
I visit and tidy up my parent's grave↓
Then off to Asda↓
 They sold out of their Ham Hocks.
While my hubby waited in the car, I got two lovely plants from B&Q.
Then we drives to Sainsburys.
 We waited for the rain to go.
We got a Ham Hock for my neighbour.
Enjoyed a much needed coffee↓
 Back home in the sunshine↓
 Planting plants time↓
 We collected all the veg that was growing in my garden↓


Late lunch time↓

 Now to watch a great film↓
 Nothing else was any good on television.
Out came the NYPD Blue boxset again.
 I also read today's newspaper...
 Vera  Miles is a retired American actress who worked closely with Alfred Hitchcock, most notably as Lila Crane in the classic 1960 film Psycho, reprising the role in the 1983 sequel Psycho II. Geoff Capes is a British former shot putter, strongman and professional Highland Games competitor.
As an athlete he represented both England and Great Britain in field athletics, specialising in the shot put, an event in which he was twice Commonwealth champion, twice European indoor champion, and three-time Olympian.
As a strongman, he twice won the title of World's Strongest Man, was World Muscle Power champion on two occasions, and also had numerous other titles including Europe's Strongest Man and Britain's Strongest Man.
As a Highland Games competitor he was six times world champion,first winning the title in Lagos in 1981,and held world records in numerous events. Following retirement from competitive sport he continued to be involved in strength athletics as a referee, event promoter and coach. He also ran a sportswear retail shop, and became renowned as a world-class breeder of birds. Capes stood 197 cm (6 ft 5 12 in) and weighed 170 kilograms (370 lb) at his peak condition.He is 71 years old ๐ŸŽˆ
 Husband woke up after the second episode had finished.
I had to put on the tumble drier.

Hubby got his things ready to take to work tomorrow.
I have one full week left before I go back to my school jobs....

 We all had a early night....
Which I hope I won't be woken up too early by snoring again....

Lovely Smell Of Gin....

Up up up I say to the Sleeping Beauty.
I make the brew....
He makes the breakfast \o/
Hug and brew time.
Dressed.
Out for the extended walk↓
 We went past my late dad's house↑↑
 Everyone was wearing masks when we went into the shop.\o/
Walks back,
The wind is getting up,
Dark clouds are appearing...
Back out to visit Lidl in Bromsgrove.
We haven't been since March.
I got my bargain of the day.
Sewing machine threads for £4.99 each↓
 Nice sewing machine going↓
 Nice posh toilet seat as well↓
 We nipped into Home Bargains for a few things.
I forgot the liquid plant feed.
I popped into Homebase to get some.
Nipped into Pets At Home to look at the Gerbils and Hamsters.
Back to the car as it started to rain↓
 Those dark clouds following us home↑↓
 Enjoyed a coffee and nibble in the garden↓
 Back out to see my mum and dad.
(And to water their lavender plants) 
 It is my dad's 79th Birthday on Wednesday.
(Already got the balloons ordered)
The man who passed away last month,
(I talked to him in March,when he was tending his wife's grave)
 All the flowers were dead that were laid there from his funeral. I put them in the bin.
I put some red flowers on the right of his gravestone to make it look nice with the white ones I added last week↓
 The soil on his grave has now dropped down so much, that grass can be laid on top.
My dad will have to wait a bit longer for that to happy,as the soil hasn't gone down that much yet↓↓
 Back home for lunch↓
 Then it started to rain!!
Wrote the Birthday card out for tomorrow's Big Birthday↓
 I wrote yesterday's blog post.
We had beef burgers for tea↓
 The fridge smells lovely of gin from the Birthday cake I made.
I got the special Birthday cake ready for tomorrow↓

I caught up with the newspapers from the weekend.
We carried on watching season 3 of:

 He died aged 88 in 2015.
Sir Mick Jagger  is an English singer, songwriter, actor, and film producer who gained worldwide fame as the lead singer and one of the founder members of the Rolling Stones. Terry Scott  was an English actor and comedian who appeared in seven Carry On films. He also appeared in BBC1's domestic sitcom Terry and June with June Whitfield.He died aged 67 in 1994.
I took my Sleep tea up to bed...
