Welcome to my cloudy,wet Thursday.

After being on the sofa since↓

  I went back upstairs to bed,

4 hours later...

Brew and hug time↓

 I had breakfast.

I needed to go back to sleep.

(Which I did)

Hubby went and got the newspaper.

Then off to work he went

(To the living room).

I rose later on.....

Much needed coffee...↓

 Quick look into the newspaper↓

 Marc Almond, OBE  is an English singer-songwriter and musician. Almond first began performing and recording in the synthpop/new wave duo Soft Cell. He has also had a diverse career as a solo artist. His collaborations include a duet with Gene Pitney on the 1989 UK number one single "Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart". Almond's career spanning over four decades has enjoyed critical and commercial acclaim, and he has sold over 30 million records worldwide. He spent a month in a coma after a near-fatal motorcycle accident in 2004 and later became a patron of the brain trauma charity Headway^. He was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2018 New Year Honours for services to arts and culture.He is 63 years old.🎈

 It was still raining when I went to work.

Nice big tune to start work with↓

 It had thankfully stopped raining when I got back.

Snuck one more episode in....

With some sleep tea↓

 We have 244 episodes to watch before we finish the whole boxset!

Fingers crossed I don't end up sleeping on the sofa later.....

(I might get a fold up camping bed, as the sofa doesn't make for sleeping on for a long time,in for the long haul!)

Visiting Old Friends!

At last we reach Saturday!

I missed "The Sounds of the 60s"

We had tea in bed.  

 The sunshine is out at last.

 We visit B&M bargains to get some bits.

I price up the tins of paint.

 I pop over to see some late friends↓

 

 He wasn't very old when he passed away↓

 I actually visited this grave for the first time, as I keep seeing it when I go pass after visiting my mum's grave↓

 I gave my mum some more flowers↓

 It's getting warm!

Welcome to my Thursday.

I'm still upgrading some bits of my house.

Some bits I have had for over 12 years and showing their age...

I went over to my brother's storage barn.

 

 Pity it's not a real car!

You play and I sing.

I bought off him a nearly new settee,

blue wicker chair, and a smaller kitchen table.

He will drop them round later, and take the old ones away too.

 More scaffolding goes up↑↑↑

I then start cleaning up the living room.

Once I come back from work,

I enjoy an ice cream in the garden.

  Hubby goes and does my dad's shopping.

I move out the old settee, and tv cabinet↓↓↓

 

 Lets hope I can fit the new sofa through the front door and fill the empty space in my Living room!

Oh dear the sofa won't fit through the front door! FFS!

Hubby comes back and puts it on its side...

It's just about gets the front door and living room!

It can fit 3 people on!

It was about midnight when my brother returned with the items I bought off Ebay.
