Better Start On The Apples.....

We had a little bit of a lie-in....
Hubby and youngest son are having a haircut this morning.....
 Brew and hug↑
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Out for a mini-walk in the sunshine↓
 Back for a much needed coffee↓

Christine  Perfect , known professionally as Christine McVie following her marriage to John McVie, is an English singer, songwriter and keyboardist, best known as one of the three lead vocalists and the keyboardist of Fleetwood Mac. She joined the band in 1970. She has also released three solo albums. McVie is known for her contralto vocals and her direct but poignant lyrics, which concentrated on love and relationships. AllMusic describes her as an "Unabashedly easy-on-the-ears singer/songwriter, and the prime mover behind some of Fleetwood Mac's biggest hits." Eight of her songs appeared on Fleetwood Mac's 1988 Greatest Hits album.She is 77 years old 🎈
David Carr, keyboard player in the original line-up (The Fortunes), died in  2011 from a heart attack, aged 67
Hubby and son went off to the Barbers for haircuts.
I caught up with my blog. 
Wow when hubby came back....
He had lost 2 stone off his head!!!
Now to celebrate with a little ride!

Nice and warm!
We are going to visit Burcot Garden Centre.
It is closing down at the end of the month to make way for houses...:( :(

 I got some bird seed, some nice coffee, and some flowers for my parent's grave↓
 Off now to see my parents...
 On March 14th...
I came here to visit my parent's grave.
I got chatting to an elderly man for a good 45 minutes, as he was tending his late wife's grave↓↓↓

It was sad to see, he had now passed away.
I found out from the flowers on his grave, his name was Bill↓

 I told my parents I would be back up in the week, with some lavender plants.
Back home.
 Time for strong coffee↓
 Light lunch time outside↓
We did the Tv themes Quiz from Friday.
3/6 we got.
While I wrote yesterday's blog.
Hubby got some of the apples of the tree↓ 
 Just put my order for some shortcrust pastry, lots of apple pies to eat over the next 12 months!
We had a nice lamb tea..
 Now to break open Series 2 of NYPD Blue↓
 With sleep tea of course↓
 2 episodes watched....
Back on that tiny Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡 tomorrow...

Getting Prepared For Tomorrow :(

Welcome to my Saturday.
We were up early enjoying hug and brew↓
 Breakfast.
Gets dressed.
Out of the house for a little ride↓
 
  Off to get some reduced food from Waitrose
 I get my £1.25 refund from last week↑
We go to AP Meats for our month's meat↓
Off to get some bits from the Farm Shop↓
 Back home with the dark clouds looming↓
 A good cover from Private Eye↓
 Back out...↓
 The rain is back.
Quick nip into Burcot Garden Centre↓
 I could only get 1 pot.
(I needed 2!)
 I got 8ft sticks for my runner beans↓
I repotted some veggie plants.
Moved some pots around.
Watched Time Bandits..
 Followed by 
Miss Marple - Nemesis

 I got the shopping list from my next door neighbour.
Off  to do some shopping↓

 We were wearing our face masks.

 Errol  Flynn was an Australian-born American actor during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Considered the natural successor to Douglas Fairbanks, he achieved worldwide fame for his romantic swashbuckler roles in Hollywood films, as well as frequent partnerships with Olivia de Havilland. He was best known for his role as the eponymous hero in The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938);He would have been 111 years old🎈
 He died aged 50 in 1959
 John Taylor  is an English musician, singer, songwriter, producer, and actor, who is best known as the bass guitarist and founding member of new romantic band Duran Duran. Duran Duran was one of the most popular bands in the world during the 1980s due in part to their revolutionary music videos which played in heavy rotation in the early days of MTV. Taylor played with Duran Duran from its founding in 1978 until 1997, when he left to pursue a solo recording and film career. He recorded a dozen solo releases (albums, EPs, and video projects) through his private record label B5 Records over the next four years, had a lead role in the movie Sugar Town, and made appearances in a half dozen other film projects. He rejoined Duran Duran for a reunion of the original five members of the group in 2001 and has remained with the group since.He is 60 years old 🎈

We are going off to see my Father-in law tomorrow. 
It's going to be a sad day tomorrow as it's the first Father's Day, my dad is not here to share it with me :(
