Snoring was getting too loud for me to sleep, plus I was getting too hot upstairs.
Downstairs I went↓↓↓↓

I fell asleep until Sleeping Beauty woke me for breakfast.
Upstairs I went↗↗↗
 I had breakfast.
I still felt awful.
I went back to bed.
Hubby got up to go for the daily walk and get the newspaper.
I woke up much later
(Feeling better)
Had a cold shower...
Time to enjoy the remaining Friday now!
Gave a sloppy 💋 to hubby who was working from home....
I had a quick coffee↓

Steve  Martin  is an American actor, comedian, author, filmmaker, and musician. Martin came to public notice in the 1960s as a writer for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, and later as a frequent guest on The Tonight Show. In the 1970s, Martin performed his offbeat, absurdist comedy routines before packed houses on national tours. Since the 1980s, having branched away from comedy, Martin has become a successful actor, as well as an author, playwright, pianist, and banjo player, eventually earning Emmy, Grammy, and American Comedy awards, among other honors.He is 75 years old🎈
Sarah Brightman  is a British classical crossover soprano, singer, songwriter, actress, dancer and musician.
Brightman began her career as a member of the dance troupe Hot Gossip and released several disco singles as a solo performer. In 1981, she made her West End musical theatre debut in Cats and met composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, whom she later married. She went on to star in several West End and Broadway musicals, including The Phantom of the Opera, where she originated the role of Christine Daaé. Her original London cast album of Phantom was released in CD format in 1987 and sold 40 million copies worldwide, making it the biggest-selling cast album ever.She is 60 years old.🎈

Watered all the plants outside.
I sat on the bench outside to enjoy some Vitamin D.
 Back on to making some funky facemasks↓
 Even had a spot of tea at 3↓
 I got 6 Funky Facemasks made↓
 Used up some bits from the fridge and cupboard:
Chicken, chickpeas, mushrooms, spinach, onion, bacon bits and a tin of chopped tomatoes can↓
 Topped with Spring Onions.
The youngest son moaned he didn't like the rice and the topping was too hot!
Great! 
He put it in the microwave and made himself something else.
Off to work I go↓
 Final big tune of the week↓
 Nice big shiny red face when I finished.
 I watched the 2 remaining frames of the semi-final of the World Snooker Championship.Between Ronnie O'Sullivan and Mark Selby....
Ronnie won.

Using The Whiskey For Other Things...

Welcome to my lockdown Thursday🎈
I had a warm hug and a nice cup of tea↓
 I had breakfast.
Got dressed.
Now out for a daily walk.
The flowers have come out↓
 Off we go↓
 The sunshine is out↓
 We gets back.
Hubby goes back to work.
I enjoy coffee and read of the newspaper↓
 Bobby Vee, was an American singer, songwriter and musician who was a teen idol in the early 1960s and also appeared in films. According to Billboard magazine, he had thirty-eight Hot 100 chart hits, ten of which reached the Top 20. He had six gold singles in his career.He would have been 77 years old 🎈
He died aged 73 in 2016
 Dame Elizabeth Campion  is a New Zealand screenwriter, producer, and director. She is the second of five women ever nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director and the first and only female filmmaker to receive the Palme d'Or, which she received for the acclaimed film The Piano (1993), for which she also won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.She is 66 years old🎈

Light lunch time↓
 I start on tonight's evening meal.
All the chicken was pan fried then added to the oven.
Then I start making a Whiskey and Ginger cake.
I left it far too late to get the paddle out of the breadmaker.
After an hour it was ready....
Found some nice icing to cover it with chopped hazelnuts and a dash of chocolate↓
 Tea at 3pm with cake and coffee↓
 We got 3/6 on the TV themes quiz.
I had a quick powernap.
Then it was time to dish up the evening meal.
Chicken,with Leeks and Mash↓
 We watched the final episode of season 3 of:
Off to work in the daylight↓
  Listening to some great music↓
I gets back to carry on watching season 4.
It's getting cold...
Off to that warm bed....

Not My Type Of Old Tunes!

Welcome to a sunny Tuesday.
I'm hoping the roller boots won't be letting off too much steam today...
It was nice to see the sunshine.....
(Hopefully I will enjoy it later)  
I had tea in bed :)
 I gave everyone  sloppy 💋💋💋 before they left.
I was slapped all over with some lovely stuff!
 I watered the plants in the front garden...
(They needed a drink!)
Coffee time!
 followed by liquid lunch↓
 The sun was out....
 It's getting warmer 😎
 Listening to lots of great Motown tunes on the way to work....
Plenty of singing along ♪♪♪

Bobby Darin : was an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actor in film and television. He performed jazz, pop, rock and roll, folk, swing, and country music.
He started his career as a songwriter for Connie Francis. He recorded his first million-selling single, "Splish Splash", in 1958. This was followed by "Dream Lover", "Mack the Knife", and "Beyond the Sea", which brought him worldwide fame. In 1962 he won a Golden Globe Award for his first film, Come September, co-starring his first wife, Sandra Dee. 
He would have been 83 years old.
(He died aged 37 in 1973) 
Derek "Lek" Leckenby : was an English musician and lead guitarist, most famous for his work with English pop group Herman's Hermits. 
He would have been 76 years old.
(He died aged 51 in 1994) 
Robert  Zemeckis : is an American director, film producer and screenwriter frequently credited as an innovator in visual effects. He first came to public attention in the 1980s as the director of Romancing the Stone (1984) and the science-fiction comedy Back to the Future film trilogy, as well as the live-action/animated comedy Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988). In the 1990s, he directed Death Becomes Her and then diversified into more dramatic fare, including 1994's Forrest Gump,for which he won an Academy Award for Best Director; the film itself won Best Picture. The films he has directed have ranged across a wide variety of genres, for both adults and families.
He is 67 years old.
Tim Roth : is an English actor and director. He made his debut role in the television film Made in Britain (1982). He garnered critical acclaim for his role as Myron in the film The Hit (1984), for which he was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Most Promising Newcomer. Among a group of prominent British actors of the era, the "Brit Pack", Roth gained more attention for his performances in The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover (1989), Vincent & Theo (1990) and Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1990).
He later earned international recognition for appearing in Quentin Tarantino's films, such as Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Four Rooms (1995) and The Hateful Eight (2015). For the historical drama Rob Roy (1995), Roth won the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He is 58 years.
Hugh Griffith :Was a Welsh film, stage and television actor. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Ben-Hur (1959) and received an additional Oscar nomination in the same category for his work in Tom Jones (1963). 
He died aged 67 years old in 1980. 
Riley B. King  known professionally as B.B. King: was an American blues singer, electric guitarist, songwriter, and record producer. King introduced a sophisticated style of soloing based on fluid string bending and shimmering vibrato that influenced many later electric blues guitarists.
King was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, and is considered one of the most influential blues musicians of all time, earning the nickname "The King of the Blues".
He died aged 89 in 2015.

Time to relax in the sunshine
 
 I made cottage pie for my dad.
Hubby took it round for him.
He ate it all up!
I did tea for the rest of us.
We caught up on 
 Hubby went to bed during the Sky Papers.
I fell asleep until 1.45am....
Oh dear back to bed I go...
