Turning My Fingers From White To Green!

Ducking for apples.Change one letter and it's the story of my life - Dorothy Parker
I made sure of no long lie-in today.
The alarm went off at 8am.....
Tea with hugs time↓
 Breakfast.
Got dressed.
Nipped out to get the newspaper↓
Tesco Express was closed for stocking the shelves until 10am.
We went further down the road to get the newspapers.
We then sat in the garden to enjoy the sunshine and coffee.
My plants are flowering really nice this year!
My good friend couldn't find any self raising flour anywhere.
I filled up a large jar with a little bag of Baking powder.
We left a good 2 meters apart when he came round to collect the flour.
We had a good chin wag.
He left.
We had a important meet over some things for the garden....
Woo hoo the bargains I got...
The plastic shelving unit is now in the back garden...
 &
The plants will be put in the garden later↓
Off to do this week's shopping from Lidl.
We were only a handful wearing face coverings in there...
I was glad to get out.
Back home to unload the shopping.
Light lunch time↓
Gardening gloves time!
I made room for the plants under the Cherry and Apple Trees.
Dunelm store is only open for call and collect.
I have ordered something to fill the space at the back of the garden.
Collection tomorrow.
I found out what the bush is called in my garden↓

Goat Willow
We had a teabreak at 4pm↓
 Once I had planted everything.
(I have room for more plants.....
I will have to get more compost tomorrow!)
I was in the shower first...
It's going to get hot hot hot up to Wednesday.
Plenty of time to enjoy the garden.
Now for our evening meal...
Gammon with well done sweet potato chips.
I caught up with this weekend's newspapers...

Shouldn't Throw Stones In Glass Houses!

To be in your children's memories tomorrow, you have to be in their lives today - anon
One B-I-G L-I-E I-N today 🛏
I had sent in a Birthday request for my hubby's Birthday for tomorrow and my eldest son on Wednesday to be read out on the 📻
They didn't play the request :(
My email probably ended up in the
Box
  Once we finally got up,
So many things to do...
Washing machine went on 4 times,
followed by the tumble drier.....
Unloaded the dish washer
&
Loaded it back up.
While hubby and kids went to do a minimum food shop...
I went off to work....
with some good tunes to listen to...
When I got back,
I had to tidy up my kitchen,
Order a new mop,
and
the final birthday present for my youngest son.
While making my hubby's birthday card.
The ex-plum phones again....
(Second time in 6 months.....)
(Could he be after a Birthday Card
&
Father's Day Card?????)
He asks "What my youngest son want to be after he leaves school?"
My son replies "Chief"
Ex-plum then says a nasty comment about my cooking...
Let's hope my youngest son doesn't take after him either↓↓
(Ex-plum's attempt of cooking a burger!)
I finished making my hubby's Birthday Card.
I'm going to enjoy my hubby's company tomorrow, as he has got the day off from work!
Now to get everything ready to mount the Wobby Work Wheel 🎡 tomorrow....

Pour Me A Large One!

Today has been a testing Sunday to say the least!
Attempting to get our children to tidy their bedrooms...
I wonder where they inherited the hording from??
I had a quick play with my Henry the Hoover..
I tried to hunt down my Mary Berry cookbooks..
Only found one :(
Trying to organise my very small kitchen around.
Found an ideal storage solution for my cake ingredients!
To cap my Sunday off...
Hubby was unpacking the shopping ...
