Lots of Crashing Going On!

The best liar is he who makes the smallest amount of lying go the longest way
- Samuel Butler
Welcome to my Tuesday 👻
Brew with hug.
Breakfast.
I woke the kids up for their on-line learning for school.
Hubby got dressed and he was working from home.
Hubby went to get the newspaper.
I had a really bad headache.
(Paint fumes from yesterday)
Back to sleep for me.
Hubby bought up a much needed coffee for me later..
Time to get up.
Dressed.
I went outside for some fresh air.
Half way writing yesterday's blog post when computer kept crashing...
No blogging for the time beginning!
I had to buy another portable external hard drive as I filled my other one.
Then I had to make a decision to either a second hand or a new desktop computer.
Second hand computer didn't have enough Ram on them and most were overpriced.
I found a reasonable price new one and can be paid over 6 months that I can afford.
So in the meantime I hope I can get all my stuff off the old one before it dies on me completely.
Lunchtime.
I had a look inside the newspaper.

Karen  Carpenter was an American singer and drummer who, along with her elder brother Richard, was part of the duo the Carpenters. She was praised for her three-octave contralto vocal range and drumming abilities. Her struggles with eating disorders would later raise awareness of anorexia and body dysmorphia.
She would have been 71 years old 🎈
She died aged 32 in 1983
Mary  O'Brien OBE , professionally known as Dusty Springfield, was a British pop singer and record producer whose career extended from the late 1950s to the 1990s. With her distinctive mezzo-soprano sound, she was an important singer of blue-eyed soul and at her peak was one of the most successful British female performers, with six top 20 singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 and sixteen on the UK Singles Chart from 1963 to 1989. She is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and UK Music Hall of Fame. International polls have named Springfield among the best female rock artists of all time. Her image, supported by a peroxide blonde bouffant hairstyle, evening gowns, and heavy make-up, as well as her flamboyant performances, made her an icon of the Swinging Sixties.
She died on this day in 1999 aged 59.
