Trying To Get It In!

"It is better for you to be free of fear lying upon a pallet, than to have a golden couch and a rich table and be full of trouble." ~ Epicurus

Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎑

Hubby was having half a day off to help bring in the sofa we are having delivered.
But first, hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Got one son up for school.
Dressed.
Next to give out sloppy wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ .
It was feeling a bit cold, so I had a lightweight jacket under my Summer coat.
Tree shot↑↑
Several cars failed to stop, they just went under my stick, like I wasn't there!
No lambo this morning.....
(Must be in the garage)
At least the sun is starting to come out!
I finished in one piece.
Now fun to deal with the sofa being delivered!
The sofa came, then there were problems.
Hubby pulled his back out trying to lift it.
Couldn't fit the sofa through the archway.
Over the fence it went instead.
The younger son and me then tried to get it through the front door!
Finally got it in!
We put the yellow covers back over it...
Much needed coffee time!
Then to drop off some clothes at the recycle bin at Sainsburys.
Then to see if any brother has left anything on my dad's grave for Father's Day 🎈
Younger brother added some Xmas red berries, red flower and two other fake flowers to the grave. He did put up against the bench a fake orchid plant, which I moved to the grave and is on show.
I will order the 80th Birthday balloons for my dad's birthday later on today.
Get's back home.
Gave hubby a big sloppy πŸ’‹ as he went back to work.
I meanwhile have to put all the pictures back up on the hall wall!
I had a email from the Cleaning Firm,
I am having my tax refunded in this month's wages \o/
Then light lunch afterwards.
Back out for the afternoon session.
A couple of car drivers, totally ignored my big stick when I was walking out into the road.
They carried on going.....(on the other side of the road)
I was glad I bought a cold drink with me, as it was well warm!
My friend appeared with his dog and we had a good chat up to 4pm.
Back home for me.
I had some making up the time with some reading of the newspapers.
As I had a bit of me-time, I started to read from May 24th upwards.
One interesting bit about an alarm clock↓
I had my tea made by one of sons...
Nice bit of Stir Fry.
I just finished reading the last newspaper when hubby came home from visiting his dad.
All went in the recycle bin.
Quick catch up of today's events....
The sofa feels really nice to sit on.....
We didn't stop long in the living room, as the temperatures were dropping, and we needed to get under that 16 tog duvet!

Welcome to my Thursday πŸ‘―
Hoping the swelling on my knee goes down enough for me to return back to work next week \o/
A cup of brew with added hug.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Hubby fetched the newspaper for me.
He had a few more sloppy wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ for doing so.
Kids had some more wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ off me.
Coffee time!
While looking through the newspaper.

Then on to writing yesterday's blog post.
I got the chicken out of the freezer ready for tonight, made the stuffing, and roast potatoes.
I tidied up my boxes of craft items that are on the top of my wardrobe in our bedroom↓

I found some thermal lining which might have to be added to the 47 year old curtains by late mum made↓
I found some nice material I bought 8 years ago at the Craft Fair at the NEC↓
The story behind the nice material: While I had a limit of £70 to spend at the Craft Fair.
The person I went with spent over £350 on craft items.
(I needed £12 to get out of the car park)
Dirty Harry once said:
"A Man's got to know his limitations"
I found a box to put more material in↓
I ordered a pattern to make some tote bags.
The elastic for the waist bands for the skirts I ordered last week has failed to arrive.
They was suppose to arrive Tuesday.
I got in contact with the seller.
They gave me a fake tracking number.
I have informed Ebay about it.
Lunch time
I tried to find out where I put some sewing patterns.(It was August 2018, when I moved the Dining room around)Couldn't find them anywhere...
Then my knee started to hurt...grrrrr
Time for more season 4 of:
Tea at 3.
If I can return back to work next week.
I need something spotty to wear next Friday as it's Children in Need day.
as well as Friday 13th :(
I ordered some spotty fabric,
I will try and make a spotty skirt...
(If my elastic comes before then!)
Hubby comes home and receives some wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹
Dish up the roast chicken dinner.
No one beside me like English Mustard...
We carry on with season 4 of Hell's Kitchen up to the Final.
I was going to make spotty apron for next week. I bidded on an apron pattern on Ebay.
Then I found another pattern on another website. Any other time, I get outbidded on Ebay.Because I WANTED to be outbid, it didn't happen!
I won the item.....
Now to move onto Season 19 of Hell's Kitchen.
Sleep tea time.
Time to get in the mood for tomorrow's Friday Feeling 🎈
(Great song coming up at the end of today's blog post)

In Sexy Beast we go.
Nice cabinet going for free↓
My late dad's house has now been sold \o/
Gets back for a much needed coffee↓
Hubby left my phone on top of the radiator cover and it fell off onto the floor....
It cracked the Gorilla glass cover...
It didn't crack the glass underneath.
Good job I had a spare one to put over my screen!
Is it going to turn out like Friday 13th???
My friend came round to collect her ear plugs I bought for her last week.
I pointed to my front door...
"Watch out for the Red Cross on the door!"
I gave a sloppy πŸ’‹ to my hubby before I left to go to work.
More singing along to do↓
I looks across the fields of fun
Just before I got in, there was a fire drill.
Afterwards, I started my job.
All went well until I left to go home.
One Joker commented to me on the way out in front of Teachers and TAs:
"Don't get falling over again!"
I didn't find that funny at all.
Looking at that sign in the car park brought it all back↓
