One Bang, & It's Gone!

A tough lesson in life that one has to learn is that not everybody wishes you well - Dan Rather
Welcome to my Hump of the Week ๐Ÿช
Hug and brew to start the day.
Breakfast.
Followed by a hot shower.
Dressed.
Hubby goes and fetches the newspaper.
I turn on my Lava Lamp and the bulb blows!
Trying to find a matching bulb is going to be an adventure!
Either the watt is too high,or the bulb is too expensive!
I could have got a new Lava lamp on what I paid for the 3 bulbs I got in the end!
At least my bread flour order arrived!
Now to sort out my kitchen unit that will hold this flour↓
I sorted and gave it a good clean out.
I didn't have enough storage jars for where the flour was going in to.
On-line order, hubby will pick them up later.
I whipped up a French style of bread in the breadmaker while I was sorting out the various flours.
Much needed coffee time.
Afterwards, I went outside for some much needed fresh air.
I had a funny shaped parcel delivered to me.
It was the wallpaper boarder I ordered.
Another job to be done over the weekend!
I had more post as well.
The final book I ordered for my next neighbour came.
As well as a book I ordered for one of my sons.
I had a letter about booking an appointment for my Covid jab. Already booked in for mine in a few days...
Lunchtime.
Quick look in the newspapers.

Trying To Escape It!

"Moral indignation is jealousy with a halo" - HG Wells.
Welcome to my weekend๐ŸŽˆ
Snoregate again...
Up, up, I rose and went downstairs↓
I took out my earplugs, and I could still hear the loud snores coming from our bedroom.
I listened to the "Sounds of the 60s" while catching up with yesterday's blog.
Sleeping Beauty arises and comes downstairs.
He orders an Anti-Snore pillow from Argos.
I asked him "If he bought two?"
"Why two?"He asked.
"One to sleep on, and the other one on top of your face!"
He went to make breakfast after that crack!
More lovely material arrived↓
 First coffee of the day↓
Drops off younger son to help with the uniform bank.
Collects my neighbour's shopping list.
Off to drop of other son to do his boxing lesson↓
 Drops him off.
Nice new face mask for me to wear today↓
Hubby goes off to fetch his snore pillow↓
While hubby was filling his car up.
I noticed a ex-worker who I call the Anti-Depressant! Washing his car.
To finish our friendship once and for all, he said the following to me while I was doing my first Lollipop job:
"They don't need you here, they have traffic lights. It should be a voluntary position."
After that, I just ignored him with a passion↓
Next stop was to do my neighbour's shopping at Lidl↓
Once we had finished, we saw Anti-Depressant go past in his car again.
Picks son up from boxing.
Drops shopping around to my neighbour.
Quick lunch.
Let's see how hot it is in the USA↓

Back out to pick up younger son↓
Car Park 4 was still closed.
Car Park 7 was losing some of its parking spaces due to repainting↓

Made sure we got a ticket on display↑
I chatted to a friend outside the church.
He had a lovely brown suntan from sitting in the sun. He was telling me about some of the shops that are moving about in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.
The Uniform Bank has finished early.
Youngest son got himself some clothes for the new school year.
On the way out I got talking to a friend of my arsehole brother.
He blames the girlfriend for the money grabbing situation.I just said she doesn't help the situation that he is a big arsehole trying to screw me over!
Gets home.
Watches the afternoon session of the World Championship snooker.
Then off to do our shopping↓
They knocked down the last box of sewing threads....↓
 In the trolley they go.
Gets back to unload the shopping.
Has a steak tea.
(In a hurry to eat, forgot to take picture!)
Now to finally look into today's newspaper↓
