Jab Time!

I got up, made a brew.
Unloaded and loaded up the dishwasher.
Enjoyed the brew in bed!
Breakfast soon followed.
Dressed.
Now out for some fresh air.
It's getting warmer \o/
We went past the site where the new Lidl is going to be...
I went to see my mum and dad.
The grave behind my parent's grave has now no flowers on it.
All the flowers from last week have gone.
I hope there will be some flowers going on in the next few weeks.
At least the sun is shining!
Hubby nipped into Sainsburys,while I sat in the car.
Back home.
Read the newspapers before lunch.

Lunchtime.
Hubby and son then was cutting back some branches of a tree.
Belated tea at 3.
Now its time to get my Covid jab.
Goes in 5 minutes before I'm due. There is about 5 medical centres in one here.
I sat on the chair marked 2.
Gets called in by my own Doctor, quick chat and has the jab and its done.
I wait in the waiting room for 15 mins.
Then I'm done.
Hubby collects my order from Dunelm.
It didn't help when we pulled up in the car park, a man driving his car,went past us talking on his mobile phone. 
On the way out he went, past the Police Station, and still talking on his phone while driving!. 
Back home with a sore arm.
Now one of my son's won't be cold at night now...

We caught up with 2 episodes of Judge Rinder.
Roast Pork Tea.
Now to watch another film.
Really good film.
Sleep Tea time.
Then off to enjoy that warm bed, to count down the hours until my Birthday!

Wow, That's A Nice Price!

My mother-in-law has come round to our house at Christmas seven years running. This year we're having a change. We're going to let her in - Les Dawson

Little bit of a lie in...
Nice warm hug with hot brew!
Breakfast.
More Christmas themed clothes to wear!
Kids were helping to deliver some Labour leaflets for our good friend Cllr Joe.
I declutted the bathroom.
All the empty Body Shops tubs were put in the recycle bin, as our local store has closed down!
Coffee time!
The kids were back in no time.
Now for us to go out for some fresh air!

We got some reduced items.

There was a nice hunky man on the next magazine I looked at!
We had to go to Morrisons for some mixed fruit.
We picked up a whole Salmon for under £8.
That's being cooked on Tuesday!
Nice large Mocha on the way out..
Back home to unpack the shopping.
Light lunch time↓
There is now a vacancy come up for a Cllr for my ward.The one who was going up for it, as moved to Nottingham. so I have to go for a interview and get the ball rolling.
That should be interesting....
I gets yesterday's blog wrote while hubby does his work out on the Wii.
Tea is served!
Roast Pork with lots of stuffing and veg.
With Crab Apple jelly.
We watch more of Season 15 of Hell's Kitchen up to the final episode.

 John  Hillerman was an American actor best known for his starring role as Jonathan Quayle Higgins III on the television series Magnum, P.I. that aired from 1980–1988. For his role as Higgins, Hillerman earned five Golden Globe nominations, winning in 1981, and four Emmy nominations, winning in 1987. He retired from acting in 1999. 
He would have been 88 years old 🎈
He died aged 84 in 2017
Bobby Darin (born Walden Robert Cassotto)  was an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, impressionist, and actor in film and television. He performed jazz, pop, rock and roll, folk, swing, and country music.
He died on this day aged 37 in 1973

Didn't Touch The Sides!

Welcome to my Saturday...
Nice bit of lie-in...
We are going off to see the Droitwich Lions...Book Sale..later..on..
But first Brew and Hug↓
Even the sunshine came out...
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Then out.
New dress to try out as well↓
Drops off son at his Boxing lesson.
Then off to Droitwich...
It was nice to see them again.
They had the Crap Apple Jelly for sale.
It is so lovely and goes nice on anything.
Bought them all.
Hopefully it will be on next month.
I promised them some of my dad's CDs.
Got some bargains.
Now to get the newspaper and coffee.
 Picks up son from his Boxing Lesson.
Some nice things from the Lions earlier..
 I start to sort out all my CDs in Sexy Beast.
Sorted them out to put into the boot↓
I sorted out all my late dad's Cds.
This are going to the Lions.
While the rest are going in Sexy Beast.
lunch time.
Afterwards I put the washing machine back on.
Tidied up in the Living room.
We wrote out our shopping list.
I went and collected my next door neighbour's shopping list.
We put tea on low in the oven.
First stop was Lidl..
Some of my neighbour's shopping done.
Next was Food Warehouse, Home Bargains, over the road to Aldi, and a quick visit to Morrisons!
He did get £6 back out of £50.
3 hours doing food shopping.
I dropped his shopping round.
Unloaded our food shopping.
My tea didn't even touch the sides!
I read this week's Private Eye magazine.

Martin  Ruane  was an English professional wrestler. Best known by the ring name Giant Haystacks he was one of the best-known wrestlers on the British wrestling scene in the 1970s and 1980s. He also worked in both Canada and the United States under the name "Loch Ness Monster" or simply "Loch Ness".
He would have been 73 years old 🎈
He died aged 52 in 1998.
Martin Kemp  is an English actor, musician and director, known as the bassist in the new wave band Spandau Ballet and for his role as Steve Owen in EastEnders.
He is the younger brother of Gary Kemp, who is also a member of Spandau Ballet and an actor. In 2012, Kemp finished third in the tenth series of Celebrity Big Brother, and in 2017 he appeared as a judge on the BBC series Let It Shine.He is 59 years old 🎈
