Further on, the traffic lights stopped me for no reason, as there were no other cars at the three way lights!

Then I went out to get a Lucky Bag from Morrisons.
(It's a good job I only got one, as the other two bags were the same as mine!)
I did my Stir Fry, but I had a little meat with it.
Mmmm  what to watch?
Hubby came back from visiting his dads.
He had a sloppy wet πŸ’‹
We carried on watching Netflix.
I quickly looked in today's newspaper before I pressed start.
Aretha Franklin  was an American singer, songwriter, and pianist. Referred to as the "Queen of Soul", she is regarded as the most influential female vocalist of the 1960s. Franklin began her career as a child, singing gospel at New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan, where her father C. L. Franklin was a minister.
At the age of 18, she embarked on a secular-music career as a recording artist for Columbia Records. While her career did not immediately flourish, she found acclaim and commercial success after signing with Atlantic Records in 1966. Hit songs such as "I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)", "Respect", "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman", "Chain of Fools", "Think" and "I Say a Little Prayer" propelled her past her musical peers.
She died on this day in 2018 aged 76.
Sleep Tea Time.
My kids are going to have their first Covid jab tomorrow....
Hopefully there won't be screams!

Did You Watch It?

It was so hot today I went to a cash point machine just to enjoy the feel of a cold gun against the back of my neck
- David Letterman
Welcome to my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎑
Hug with brew to start Monday with.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Woke one son up for school.
Gave out sloppy wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ before I left.
On goes the Summer Coat....
Now for the fun to start 🎈
It was very quiet for a Monday.
Some of the parents were going in late because of the football last night.
Two baby birds landed on the road just up from me. Two seconds later, a car ran down over, the car following made sure both became pancakes :(
Some of the parents asked if I watched the match, I told them I watched Top of the Pops from 1991 instead.
Finished in one piece.
I had popped into the Co-op to get some milk.
The DPD delivery man phoned me, asking where my house was. I gave him the directions, and he put phone down soon after.
Back home.
The Dpd man found me and delivered the boxes from Star Bargains.
Unloaded the boxes.
Coffee time.
They are needed for the next good deed we are doing.
Now to sort out 3 boxes of CDs of my late dad's.
I managed to sort out out two trays full of CD's for the Droitwich Lions. Next was the gardening magazines that I was saving for no reason, that went in a box, then some cooking books I had from my dad's which I don't use and someone else might find useful.
4 boxes of useful things being dropped off at a Droitwich lions member on Saturday morning.
Lunchtime.
After watching a episode of The Hotel Inspector.
Out I went again.
There was a dark cloud, but I still worn my Summer Coat...
Far too humid for that winter coat.
Still some parents were asking if I saw the match, I said, "Top of the Pops from 1991".
"Manic Street Preachers on there yet?"
"No, but Paul Young and OMD was," I replied....
I finished in one piece.
Back home for a lolly pop.
I caught up with more Hotel Inspector and last week's newspapers.
I had a Chicken Stir Fry for tea.
Hubby came back from seeing his dad.
Quick look in today's newspaper.
David Carr (born in Leyton, London) keyboards (1963–1968) for The Fortunes died on this day in 2011 aged 67.
Making sure the bedroom windows are open.....
We need some breeze.....

 Big big sunglasses time!
Gets to my lollypop job in the sunshine.

It was unusually quiet for a Friday...

I put on my summer coat and my summer hat.
Then the fun starts...
Traffic queues starting to build up.
I was asked:"If I was going to wear my summer coat soon?
"I am wearing my summer coat!"I replied.
I finish in one piece.
Now off home for coffee and crumpet!
Then out with a bag of 70's tunes...
Gets into work.
Loads up my skip for my shift.
Had a nice long play with the hoover.
At least the sun is out.
Bagged up all the dirty cloths for the week.

Quick look in the newspaper.
Eddie Rabbitt  was an American country music singer and songwriter. His career began as a songwriter in the late 1960s, springboarding to a recording career after composing hits such as "Kentucky Rain" for Elvis Presley in 1970 and "Pure Love" for Ronnie Milsap in 1974. Later in the 1970s, Rabbitt helped to develop the crossover-influenced sound of country music prevalent in the 1980s with such hits as "Suspicions", "I Love a Rainy Night" (a number-one hit single on the Billboard Hot 100), and "Every Which Way but Loose" (the theme from the film of the same title). His duets "Both to Each Other (Friends and Lovers)" with Juice Newton and "You and I" with Crystal Gayle later appeared on the soap operas Days of Our Lives and All My Children. He sadly died on this day in 1998 aged 56.
I just flopped into bed without my Sleep Tea and not putting in my ear plugs...
I woke up at 3am to the sound of my hubby's loud snoring...
Ear plugs back in...
