Now I can wear my Mum name badge with pride

(For the next 10 days)

Larry has been enjoying the Autumn...

Someone wants me to buy some other tyres for Larry at my own expense :( As I found some screws scattered about on our shared drive.

On a brighter note, I am now on holiday..

I can't wait to spread some of the Friday Feeling tomorrow....

 

No Finger This Time!

Had my normal Webbs's Experience

Larry enjoyed the grass...

 One person had the nerve to park on the Zig Zags outside the school

While doing my final shift of Job 1.

I politely asked him to move off them.

For a change, I wasn't told to do one, or shown the finger!

After doing all these 3 Jobs this week.

Time to relax, and let my warm hands to do the talking.....

 

Shaking A Very Wet Tail Feather...

Welcome to my Saturday...

The sun disappeared and left us with the heavy rain.

Larry came out for some wet play...

2 pairs of shoes bought for school.

Adult sizes of size 9 and 8!

We went on a road trip to Droitwich..

Free coffee and free magazine..

I don't know who had more fun going through the large puddles..Larry or me!

Back to the ironing of the  shirts for school

And watching House of Cards season 4 at the same time! 

 

 

Having A Rub Down!

Enjoying the last drops of sunshine 

 (rain is forecasted all day tomorrow!)

Popped into town,

Enjoyed my take-away coffee.

While visiting my dad's, Jack gave Larry a rub down

Paid for Scout camp for next weekend.

Kids are looking forward to it.

So are we!

Adult weekend:

 Warm hands, and other body parts will be worn out by the end of the weekend!

Dropped off the Birthday card I made this morning

 Nearly got took out by a van failing to stop at a junction.

Good job I swerved out of the way!

Got back to apply the ball and chain.

Hot & Steamy

It's getting hot hot hot..

 Time for skimpy clothes and huge sunglasses.

Some people are trying to outshine my Larry by getting a orange coloured car...Nice try!

While I was driving off my drive, I had 3 pairs of eyes giving the Larry the look of Love!

 More hot, sticky, sweating, weather due tomorrow..

Best leave the bedroom window open tonight,

As we could have some steamy windows....

 

 

 

 

 

 

Things We Do For Love..

Had more play with the Gear stick this morning..

Then time for a treat of....bacon sandwich!

Larry was feeling neglected, so out for a ride with him we went!

Diesel for the week added.

Now it was time to visit my late mum with flowers and Larry

I also found where my friend is buried,
Whose funeral I went to last month...
  Making of the most of the sunshine...

By hanging lots of wet washing on the line.

Final week on being the wobbly work wheel..

Then 6 weeks of stress,tears,panic and relaxation of

the school holiday...

Enjoying The Pink Sunshine Again

Had another fun day of trying to cross the children over the road (safely)(and in the sunshine)

One particular parent (who I have history with) either had to stop or have a cracked windscreen.

She stopped at the last minute, and I felt the blast of her icy stare...

I finally got round to packing up older son's present for his 21st Birthday next Wednesday.

And a present for a good friend whose birthday is at the end of the month.

 Larry got in touch with his feminine side by his pink seat covers..

Let's see when I go back to work on the September 5th, when parents realise what time I actually start in the afternoon!

 

Shaking The Money Tree?

 Larry made a new friend while on the school run.

His name is Robbie...

I took Larry to the garage to have his computer read once more.

The mechanics gave me the look of dread when they saw Larry.

Had every dig, joke, comment you can think of about the Freelander 

I shrugged my shoulders,and hope the money tree in my garden is in season!

"If you thought you had problems,with your old Skoda, you will have a shed more with your Freelander".I was told.

As soon as I turn on my CD player in Larry.

A good song comes on.... 

 

Looks Of Love....

Larry came onto the wobbly work wheel with me.

Had some looks of love  off people while driving Larry;

To Webbs for coffee and chat.

When I came out to greet Larry.

I had a couple giving me more looks at me and Larry.

"Right,lets see what Larry can do!"( I said)

I went around the grass car park,opposite them and then slowly passed them in the car park!!

Riding Larry Long & Hard...

We took Larry out for a nice long ride out.

We visited Long Marston Airfield to look around the market.

Next visit was for my free coffee (I have missed it so much!)

 We park up by the river in Bidford Upon Avon.

Larry watched the canal boats on the river.

Kids enjoyed playing football...

 Then we emptied our cherry tree of its now ripe cherries.....

 

Trying To Cut Back The Jungle...

I enjoyed coffee, toast and chat in the morning..

Then the plan was to cut back the jungle of our front garden when we got back...

Then it started to rain....

sunshine...

then rain again 

The only person who was enjoying this mix of weathers was....

 Larry!

 

 

Nursing Larry...

Welcome to the Friday Feeling...

Larry (my Freelander) has lost his voom voom,

So off to the garage he went to find out why he is so poorly...

Now will have to wait for it to get fixed.

Made friends with Henry the Hoover.

Got soaking wet via a unexpected rain storm during the afternoon shift

wearing my sunglasses,cap and summer coat :(

At least I had time to fit a tracker to Larry :)

Time To Make Full Use Of The Green Armchair!!

Welcome to another Hump Of The Week..

My  younger son commented on the school run in the rain...

"It had better not rain next Wednesday, as it's my Birthday!"

I hope not either, as it looked like I was going to get wet again.

Larry was guarding the lolly pop stick...

Made the most of the lovely leather armchair this morning.

Caught up the big blog, more book writing and enjoyed some damn fine coffee!!

While kids are at Scouts, we are going to enjoy some adult time.....

By watching the second season of House Of Cards.....:P

 

Getting Used To Some Comfort!

We actually had sunshine today!

Larry had to go in to the garage to see where his Umph had gone!

So I had to walk back home (1.71 miles in 44 minutes)

I saw some wonderful views of my hometown

Then walked over to my dads...(0.65 miles in 18 minutes)

Smoke was coming off my shoes by now....

At last I can put my feet up in comfort!

On the free upgraded green leather suite I was given for nothing!
