Happy 80th Birthday Dad x

It was on my fifth birthday, my dad put his hand on my shoulder and said, "Remember, son, if you ever need a helping hand, you'll find one on the end of your arm." - Sam Levenson
Welcome to my Thursday, today is my late dad's 80th Birthday 🎈🎈🎈

I gave hubby a wet sloppy 😘 before he went off to work.
I meanwhile had washing to hang on the line
(Making the most of the sunshine)
Washing machine went back on.
Loaded up the dishwasher....
Coffee time!
Got the kids up to get some fresh air by getting the newspaper for me!
More washing went on the line!
I got the iron out and ironed all my t-shirts!
I had a early lunch...
Then it was time for a bingewatch of Hotel Inspector....
Tea at 3
I put the tea in the oven.
When hubby came home, time for hug and sloppy wet 😘
Tea is served.
Quick read of the newspaper..
(Who shares the same Birthday as my dad)

Celebrating With Cake!

“All the world is birthday cake, so take a piece, but not too much.” – George Harrison.
Welcome to the day of celebrating my son's 16th Birthday 🎈
Nice cuddle and hug.
Brew with breakfast.
Wishes one son a Happy Birthday and got the other son up for school!
Dressed.
Gave out sloppy wet 💋💋💋
Feeling a bit cold....
It was cloudy and cold.
On went the winter coat with the lumo summer cap.
Now for the fun!
I am glad the rain kept off.
Still testing car driver's brakes!
No lambo again today...
(In the garage probably)
Finished in one piece.
Now off home.
Much needed coffee time.
Birthday Boy got up.
Cake revealed.
He opened his Birthday Cards..
He had some birthday money, so he wanted to go to town.
So off we went.
Parked in Car Park 4.
His bank was closed on Tuesdays!
I got a Costa Coffee to go.
Then we went out of the Kingfisher Shopping Centre to look out by the church to see if my old friend was out there.
He wasn't.
Went past the Library...
Where there was a man  begging for money became very hostile to me as I went past.
"Nice trainers, how much did they cost?"He sneered at me.
"Enough!" I said.
(I found out later on, he was abusive to one of my friends yesterday as well!)
Went back to the car park and home.
Henry came out for a little play...
Gave the kitchen a good clean, and mopped the floor.
Light lunch.
Then back out for the afternoon shift.
I spoke to the lady who gave me some free plants last week, about the large amount of plants I got last Wednesday.
"Have you got any spare?" She asked.
"I will drop some round tomorrow afternoon," I replied.
Put my lights on, and now to let the fun start!
One car was trying to speed, but out came the lollystick and it soon stopped.
A few cars the otherside wasn't stopping.
Boing Boing on the top of the car roofs if they ain't careful!
My friend with his dog appeared as soon as I finished.
While we were talking I could feel spots of rain.
I did offer him a brolly to get home with, as he will be entering a wet t-shirt competition when he gets home!
I say goodbye, and off home I go.
Starts to rain on the way home.
Glad I missed it while doing my lollipop job!
Gets home.
Now to write up 2 blog posts.
The England v Germany match is on.....
Hubby comes home at half time.
Our son gets his big presents for his Birthday.
I try and get on with the tea...
First goal goes in for England,
then the second goal in....
Tea is served..
Chicken Stir Fry..
Final result was:
England 2 Germany 0.
Birthday Boy phoned his nan up to thank her for the money she sent him.
As I ran out of Sleep Tea..
(Waiting for a delivery of it this week)
We had bought some nice hot chocolate from Bromsgrove last Saturday.

 Only £3.
Bargain, it tastes so nice!
After having a go on some ghost huntings apps on our phones....
It seem we have loads of 👻 in our house!
Hoping for a nice sunny Hump tomorrow 🐫

Painting The Cake Red!

I am a doormat in a world of boots - Jean Rhys
I woke up earlier than I normally do during the week! I left Sleeping Beauty to have a lie-in. I had things to do!
I had the cup of tea....
Sorted out the cloths for work for the final time!
I wrote out my son's Birthday Card.
Hubby rose from his warm pit.
We had breakfast.
The Birthday Boy got up and opened his Birthday Cards. He had his breakfast.
Hubby dropped him off at work.
I got out Kenny and started to make his Birthday cake.
Once that was in the oven, I had some catching up with paperwork that had come during the week.
Hubby came back with a much needed coffee and bacon baguette.
We sat outside to eat it :)
Now to add some 17th Birthday Balloons to the bunting.
The cake was finished!
The Birthday Boy came home from work early.
He really liked the cake!
He brought back the hand I bought last week from Omega.
We had a special treat of ordering another Chinese Takeway.
I then had to carry on writing blog posts from last Sunday.....
I watched two episodes of "Dragon's Den" while doing so.
I will write the remaining two blog posts tomorrow...as brain was closing down on me.....
Sleep tea time!
Another Birthday to celebrate at the end of the month!
(Not forgetting Father's Day a week on Sunday!)
Now to enjoy the bed!

Turning Half A Century!

A man in the house is worth two in the street - Mae West
Welcome to sharing the day with my hubby's 50th Birthday 🎈
I gave hubby a Birthday hug and sloppy wet 💋
Hubby's presents...
Breakfast.
Dressed.
I gets one son up for school.
I share my wet sloppy 💋💋💋
The big big sunglasses time.
The car park has been cut up, new lines on being painted. It's going to please the parents later...
On goes the summer coat.
Tree shot.
Let the fun begin...
No lambo this morning.
I stopped the Flintstone car...
She has got her brakes fixed!
Some cars were leaving it to the last minute to brake hard!
I finished in one piece.
Back home to reveal the cake!
Now to take hubby for a ride in Sexy Beast.
Late breakfast
Now to walk it off by feeding the ducks!

Get some glassware from the glass shop, in memory of my late parents.
Hubby got a leaf to remind him of his late mum.
Back home for a much needed coffee outside in the front garden.
Then taking out hubby again!
We visited the Charity Shop and found out some people swear at the staff who work there when they are unable to take anymore donations!
Hubby sat on the bench and watched me work!
Few car drivers had to slam their brakes on!
Some just kept going under my stick.
At least I survived another day!
Now for a reward!
Back home we go.
Crumpet time.
I give hubby a sloppy wet birthday 💋
Off to work I go...
One main road I use to get to work is closed for a week.
I had to do a extra 26 miles round trip while singing-a-long.
Finally gets in...
Good job I brought my bottle of cold water in with me. It was so warm. My white t-shirt was sticking to me!
Finished on time.
Now to try and cool down on the way home!
Back home.
Nice Chinese take away.
Nice soak in a cold bath helps...
Busy hot day tomorrow...

Friday Feeling is back 🎈
