Good Deed Thursday!

First stop was Morrisons...

Got some cleaning supplies...

Then off to Salvation Army Charity Shop.

 Someone is glad to see me!

I love Bagpuss!

 We nipped into Asda on the way home for some bits....

 My new DeadPool t-shirt arrived \o/

 Nice healthy lunch↑

I visited my neighbour who is in our local hospital with some goodies to keep him busy↓

 He was so glad to see me and grateful for everything :)

Gets back in time to do Job

I came back to do Chop Chop

 Beer Braised Beef With Dumplings.

After tea we caught up with new series of Bake Off...again

 I think my baking hand now has stopped itching for a bit....

Waxing The Hook...

I got up far too early for a Sunday..

 Nibble time...

 I was making a good friend's Get Well Card,

As I am dropping in to see her later in hospital.

Coffee and crochet hook primed and ready.

 Card done \o/

The temperature outside is going ↑↑↑

Now to have a little ride to hospital...

 The snow going at last..

 Magazines and card ready to be dropped off..

 Breathing in some fresh air...

After having a good yak,

With my friend and a Nurse I made friends with while I was in the same Ward.

Hubby went to do the food shopping in Lidl.

Beg steal or borrow a loaf of bread!!

Looks like my breadmaker has to be dusted down and the plug re-attached...

 Going going going?

 It starts to rain...

 Then we have a double rainbow 🌈

 We had a nice shepherd's pie with sliced potatoes.

(As my kids don't like mashed potato!)

Then kids had to get all the school things ready for tomorrow..

(lots of groans soon followed)

I will be starting my Poetry course while the house is quiet.

(Not much chance of there being quiet, while I do my little sing-a-longs...)

Got a nice smoking house :)

Now off to the hospital..

I saw the Consultant.

He touched the back of my left leg.

I screamed very LOUD...!!

More exercises need to be done by left leg..

Seeing him again in three weeks...

Visited town to get a watch strap for a new watch that lasted 24 hours 😬

Gets home and has another cooking book delivered...:)

I had a chilled afternoon hunting down a Barry Manilow song I heard yesterday, but couldn't remember the title...

Soon found it :)

 I did more chop chop while I was listening to more good 70s music

Trying Not To Hoot Too Much...

About my achillis tendon repair healing up.

 

 No more using of the wheelchair & the funky frame.

All I need to use is the kinky black boot & a shoulder walking stick.

 Gave Angela & Karen a box to chew on

My coffee glasses have arrived..↓

 Going to bed early tonight,

Soaking Up The Vitamin D

One of my sons had a trip to our local hospital as he fell over onto his arm during his P.E lesson at school

 After he had a X-ray, he was lucky to have a sprained wrist \o/
