A Very Cold Hump!

My toughest fight was with my first wife - Muhammad Ali
Welcome to my Hump of the Week ๐Ÿซ
I had great night's sleep under that warm duvet cover!
Warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Thermal vest going back on .....
Dressed.
I had covered up Sexy Beast thinking there was going to be frost....
(I looked out of the window and it had just finishing raining!)
Uncovers Sexy Beast.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet ๐Ÿ’‹before leaving.
At least the sun was out, but it was freezing!
On goes the winter coat, hat and gloves...
Turns on my lights.
Now let's do it....๐Ÿญ
Most car drivers were stopping, I had the odd few that I had to give the BOING to with my stick.....
Most just look at me when they don't stop!
At least I finished in one piece.
I got the newspaper and my neighbour's magazine on the way home.
The coffee machine was put on.
I have so much to do in so little time to do it!
Emptied all the bins in the house.
(Ran out of swing bin liners, added it to the shopping list for hubby later)
Tumble Drier went on.
My fabric order finally arrived that had been sent out on October 14th, the first delivery firm lost it, and now has been sent out!
My large cutting matt also arrived with some Christmas fabric.
I noticed in this week's Advertiser, one  former Manager from Royal Mail has died.
I worked under him in the early 1990s.
I just got half of my blog wrote from yesterday.
I ran out of time as dinnertime arrived.
Lunchtime.
I finished off my third cup of coffee with my lunch.
Now for round 2.
On went the winter coat, gloves and winter hat.
I put my lights on.
One half of where I stand, there was sunshine, the other side had really black clouds!
I chatted with my 2 friends until I started my shift.
The clouds were getting blacker by the minute.
All the parents thought it was going to rain!
Lucky for me it kept off!
Some cars were just blately going under my stick,
Boing time!
I finished in one piece.
The dark clouds faded to grey ones.
Now back home..
I got the tea ready, and put it in the oven.
Time for a much needed brew!
Hubby came back just after I dished up the tea.
(He had to warm his up in the microwave)
We put on the number 2's from 1989....
One good song came on...
(I know it word for word!)
Quick look in the newspaper.
Anthony  Donegan MBE  known as Lonnie Donegan, was a British skiffle singer, songwriter and musician, referred to as the "King of Skiffle", who influenced 1960s British pop and rock musicians. Born in Scotland and raised in England, Donegan began his career in the British trad jazz revival but transitioned to skiffle in the mid 1950s, rising to prominence with a hit recording of the American folk song "Rock Island Line" which helped spur the broader UK skiffle movement.
Donegan had 31 UK top 30 hit singles, 24 being successive and three at number one. He was the first British male singer with two US top 10 hits. Donegan received an Ivor Novello lifetime achievement award in 1995 and, in 2000, he was made an MBE.
He died on this day in 2002 aged 71.
We watched a couple of episodes of Kenny Everett...

Can't Wait For A Few Seconds More!

Beauty is only a light switch away - Austin Powers.
Welcome to other action packed Thursday ⛔๐Ÿš˜
Nice hug to start this wet Thursday with!
Brew with breakfast.
Opened the curtains....
No sunshine today only rain...
Dressed with added sexy lumo trousers!
I gives hubby a sloppy wet ๐Ÿ˜˜ before I leave.
The boots, winter coat, and gloves goes on.
I put on my lights,
Then waited by Sexy Beast as it was raining alot.
 Now for more fun...๐Ÿญ
The Car drivers were just not stopping, they did when I lowered the stick to windscreen height!
The rain and wind didn't help.
But wearing my sexy lumo trousers helped me not to get too wet!
Then it happened again!
Just away from 5 minutes from the end of the shift.
I was crossing someone over, and a blond haired woman driving a 20 plate blue Skoda, drove around my hand,up the pavement, and down the road she went!
The  next car driver behind tried it to do it, until I swapped hands with my lollipop stick and moved near the pavement!
Couldn't wait a minute for me to get back on the pavement!
At least she didn't run me over......yet!
Finished.
Now to get the newspaper.
Gets home.
Puts on the coffee machine.
Moves the Spinning bike into the living room.
Warms up the muscles...
Puts a good film to watch while spinning.
A good half an hour of spinning.
Cool down.
Now for some coffee!
I wrote yesterday's blog post up to lunch.
I had a delivery driver phone me up to try and find me. He was parked in front of the factory next door. I went out to collect my parcel.
"You won't be the last person to try and find my house,"I said to him.
Lunchtime.
It forecasted more rain this afternoon.
On goes those sexy lumo trousers once more.
On goes boots, gloves, and winter coat!
I turn on my lights.
I chat with my friend until it was time for me to start.
I had earlier on put on the local group on FB about drivers not having no patience with me crossing over people.
I did get lots of support from people.
One parent commented...
"I saw your rant earlier....!"
I though he would soon moan if someone knocked over his child!
My friend appeared with his dog.
He had his appointment with the diabetic nurse who told him:
"To walk more, use a smaller plate to eat off!"
He laughed, and said:
"Not a dinner plate just the small plate I eat my sandwiches off!"
He carried on walking the dog as it was pouring down with rain.
Who did I see driving a newer 66 plate van???
My gold digging younger brother!
Actually had a shave as well!
I still had car drivers slamming on their brakes when I lowered my stick down.
I was glad to finish in one piece!
Now back home.
Much needed coffee!
Hubby and kids are having Frankfurter sausages for tea.
I however don't like them at all.
(My dad used to have them and invite hubby and kids over for tea except me as I don't like them)
My tea is coming out of tin instead.
Then it time to carry on watching the rest of "The Wolf of Wall Street".
Quick look in today's newspaper.
