Writing, Spinning, & Need Of A Strong Coffee!

Everything takes longer than it should except sex - Murphy's Law
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Nice warm hug to start Monday with!
Brew with breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
Sexy Beast looks like a need a scrape.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one before I leave.
The sun might be coming up.
It's still freezing!
On goes 2 winter hats and the big big gloves.
I put on my lights.
Now to see how many tanks I can spot this morning...
Only saw two, is better than what I normally see...
Nice the normal white car on the otherside doesn't stop for me, she might be running out of luck soon!
Still had to do a few more BOINGs!
At least I finished in one piece!
I picks up the newspaper on the way home.
Puts on the coffee maker.
Chops some veggies and put on the soup maker.
Coffee time.
While I had some spare time.
Time to reply to the American Prison Pen Pal who sent me 2 letters last week.
I wrote him 6 pages.
That should keep him happy :)
The soup was ready to dish up.
I had a Labour leaflet pushed through the door.
Didn't knock the door.
Only hear the Councillors when they want to be re-electioned!
Dished up my soup.
Chicken,Leak,and Parsnip.
My new arier arrived.
I got in touch with Dunelm for my refund.
It is now been SIX  weeks since I put the order in. Waiting 3 weeks, and then cancelled it.
Now the excuses pile up:
1: The Manager at my local store hasn't received my order to give me a refund.
2: The IT department are working on it to find my order.
3: Today's excuse, is the only member of their IT team is now on ANNUAL LEAVE and I have to wait for them to come back!
I got sick of this utter crap and wrote a email to their CEO. If I don't hear nothing from him, I will go further up the food chain!
Now off to do my afternoon shift.
Next door's carers had to move their car again.
On goes one winter hat and lightweight gloves.
I got talking to my friend who has had his hand op the other week. He had come back from Stratford upon Avon on the bus and dropped his earing aid. He was just on the way to the bus stop when I got chatting.
I told his wife, "Since I have been wearing a facemask, I can't wear earrings, as they don't stop long in my ear lobes!"
Puts on my lights.
Now for a little rabbit with my friends.
The sun kept appearing from behind the clouds.
I said goodbye to my friends.
Now to have some fun 🍭
Oh dear, had 3 straight cars go under my stick.
BOING x 3
Some cars on the underside had to stop very quick!
At least I finished in one piece!
Hometime
Now to get changed into the pink lyrca!
I watched the last of The Irishman while doing my spinning.
Then onto the abs machine...
(I'm going to hurt tomorrow!)
Cools down.
Now to make the Meat Free Stir Fry.
Yum.
Out comes the Breadmaker.
I can't find my lovely Breadmaking book.
So from memory in it all goes...
On for 4 hours!
Now to look in today's newspaper.

He also recorded several film themes such as "From Russia with Love" for the James Bond film of the same name, "Born Free" for the film of the same name and "On Days Like These" for The Italian Job

USA No.1 on this day in 1976:
Paul Simon - 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover

Now for some Sleep Tea.
The bread came out alright!
Found my good Bread Maker book as well.
Hubby's team came back from 2-0 down to 2-2.
Even though Hubby lost his match on the pink.
I climbed into that warm bed...and fell off to sleep like a log!

That's A Big Hedgehog!

What a nasty mind you have Bruce.
Where did you learn to think like a woman? -
 Frank G. Slaughter
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Nice warm hug to start Monday with.
Brew with breakfast.
It was still a bit windy outside.
On goes that Thermal vest.
I looks through the net curtain covering the front door and notices a large round shape on the front lawn.
That's a big hedgehog!
(A bit difficult to see in the dark)
I gets ready to leave and see what is on the lawn.
It turned out to be my purple topiary ball that hangs by my front door!
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I leave.
There was a chance of rain,
So on went the boots, as well as winter hat and gloves.
I turned on my lights.
Now onto the fun with my big stick 🍭
I had a few BOINGs to deal with.
One van driver gave a black look after he went around the bus and had to stop to let me cross some kids over!!!
I swore blind that blue 20 plate Skoda went past, that I have been hunting down since last year, when she drove around my hand and up the pavement. It might help if I had remembered the licence plate the first time!
It did start to rain just before I finished.
Finished in one piece!
I collected the newspaper on the way home.
Coffee machine went on.
Knock on the door, the Hermes delivery man was glad to find me, he had been all over the estate to find me.
(I forgot to add house to the address)
I also had a knock of the door, it was my Postman.
(At least he has no trouble finding my house)
I was supposed to have a delivery of anti-hippo wrinkle eye cream.
The box had been damaged in the delivery process, so was send back to Amazon.
I just had a tiny nib of cream left!!
Put another order in, so hopefully it will here tomorrow in one piece!
Going back to my Dunelm order from Christmas Eve......
No refund after I requested one 3 weeks ago.
Fobbed off left, right and centre.
Friday's message was waiting to hear from the store's manager to give the ok for a refund.
Today's message: Can't find your order at all!
We have to see the IT team.
(Funny I have a record of the amount going out of my bank account and the order number!)
Not having much luck at all with this order!
Coffee time!
I had a chat with my friend up to lunchtime.
Time for some homemade soup.
Now to do the afternoon shift.
No low lying sun to worry about!
On goes my winter hats and gloves.
I saw my friend and his dog going down the alley.
(I will meet up with him later on)
I go and put on my lights.
My friends arrive for a rabbit.
We all say what we have been doing the weekend etc.
That half an hour went quick.
Said goodbye to everyone.
Now for fun number 2 🍭
Plenty of BOINGs given out!
Some looks could kill from some car drivers when they have to stop!
The sun poked through the clouds at one point.
Low lying sun alert!
At least I finished in one piece!
Hometime.
Time for a quick brew...
I wrote and published yesterday's blog.
Now to get on with meat-free Stir Fry.
Yum
Afterwards to look in today's newspaper.

Give Me Your Job Mate!

"Did you really pose for that calender with nothing on?"
"I had the radio on!"- Marilyn Monroe
Welcome to my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Hug to start the working week with.
Brew with Breakfast.
Dressed.
Gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I left.
It was forecasting just to be cloudy.
On went the Summer coat.
Put the lights on,
Now for the fun to start....🍭
One customer who I used to work,
Came down to fetch his newspaper.
On the way back,
He asked,"How much do I get paid?"
I didn't answer that.
"When I retire, I want your job!"He said.
"You will waiting for a long time to have my job,"I told him.
After that bit of fun..
I finished in one piece.
I got the newspaper on the way home.
Much needed coffee.
Now to leave the house to get my Flu Jab.
Looking down the road to the Doctors.
Waiting in the waiting room.
Went in early, in the left arm,
Done!
Next stop was a visit to our Town Hall.
No Reception Desk.
You had to wait at the counter where everybody pays their rent, council tax etc.
Only one on the counter...
Pull teeth time!
I gave the woman the envelope.
"Does it contain money?"I was asked.
"No,just a form,thanks."I replied.
Next stop was Dunelm.
I was in the lift with an other woman.
She pointed to my empty trolley and then to her empty trolley and said:
"Looks like we have the same problem!"
I finally found the duvet cover that they didn't have in last month!
I went to pay for it, and it came back as £55!!!!!
"That can't be right, it says £28 on the front.
WRONG BARCODE!
I had to have a £27 refund!
Gets home.
Puts the duvet cover on the bed.
Then to repot some plants that was delivered this morning.
I have now used all my pots and compost.
So glad to have some lunch.
Now for the second part.
I chose leave my summer coat on, as the rain wasn't due in until at least 5pm.
After I put on my lights, I chatted to the woman who gave me loads of plants in July.
(I returned the favour by doing the same)
She gave me a pot of cuttings.
I dropped off the pot and collected my stick.
Some car drivers were stopping.
More can be said to the cars on the otherside of the road.
At least I survived for another day!
I had a 20 minute chat with my friend afterwards.
Back home.
Now to get yesterday's blog post wrote.
Once that was done.
Now to put the tea on.
Meat-Free Stir Fry.
Now to catch up with some reading of a few newspapers.
Including today's.

Other notable films include The Longest Yard (1974), Silver Streak (1976), Force 10 from Navarone (1978), Cannonball Run II (1984), Pale Rider (1985) and Tangled (2010)

He sadly died aged 74 in 2014.
My Gnome Village looks good in the dark!
Sleep Tea Time.
I went to bed early as hubby was playing Snooker...
However by 3.35am I was sleeping on the sofa as his snoring was so loud, I could hear it with my earplugs in!
