I had my hug and cuppa↓
  I wasn't feeling very well.
Off to sleep I went.
Hubby went out to get the newspaper.

 I wakes up feeling refreshed.
Coffee time↓
 Has a quick look in the newspaper↓

 Christopher Walken  is an American actor, singer, comedian, director, producer, screenwriter, and dancer, who has appeared in more than 100 films and television programs.He is 77 years old.🎈

 Gets changed.
Off to the Happy Place Of Work.
Tomorrow is my last day there.
As I am going furlough.
I come back to catch up on↓
 Polish dumplings for tea↓
Now off to burn that off with work↓
 
 Gets home to check if my bathroom light has turned up↓
No sign of it.
Oh dear, it has been sent back to sender!!!!!!!!!!!
On the look out for another bathroom light now!
Watches another episode of↓
 I'm on a misson to get my hands on another bathroom light tomorrow!

Look Who It Is....It's Saturday!

The weekend is here \o/
I woke up and saw the sun coming up↗↗
 I caught the last hour of "The Sounds of the 60s", while enjoying a cup of tea in my warm bed!
  Once we had breakfast.
Kids were woken up, as they had boxing club to go to. 
My dad failed to tell us on Friday that he had run out of some of his tablets. As his doctors were not open today, we had to phone 111 to get a urgent perscription for this tablets!
 Hubby took kids to boxing and pick up his perscription.
I meanwhile played with the saw!
 Then coffee with nibble
Quick read of a nice magazine that came yesterday↓
Nice items, nice prices!
Hubby and kids come back.
My dad failed to tell my hubby last night and this morning to get his newspaper.
So we will have to go out again!
In the meantime we listened to 
"Pick of the Pops" on Radio 2.
The first year we listened to was: 1986
I knew most of the songs in the chart,

(As I used to listen and collect the 7 inch vinyl singles in that year)

Once done, we used up the rest of last night's Shepherd's Pie.

It's Helen Shapiro's 73rd Birthday 🎈
(One of my favourite songs of hers is at the end of this blog)
Jim Diamond would have been 68 years old🎈 
 He sadly died aged 64 in 2015.

The Big Switch On!

It's that time again...
 I was up early with tea.
 We all had a lovely big breakfast.
Before we left.
The leggings went on!
 We could see the Tower from the B&B↑
 The wind is whipping up the sea↑
 The view from our tram stop
 
 One tram heading towards Blackpool Town↓
 We visited Fleetwood Market↓
 We didn't buy nothing.
We stopped for a coffee in a cafe/book shop
 
 We walk down the high street of Fleetwood.
We didn't buy nothing at all.
We then catch the tram to Cleveleys.
We visit a great wool shop↓
 Now for a little Boost↓
 We walked up and down the High Street of Cleveleys.
We didn't buy a thing!!!
Back on the tram back to our B&B...
We get changed and have a sandwich.
 The wool I bought today↓
 Is that where the boat from Bullseye ended up↓
 The sun is going down↓↓
 
 We catch the tram to the North Pier↓
 We look around, as the turn on of the lights is soon↓
 We go on the North Pier.
We find a sign about Sooty↓
 
 The War Memorial is changing colour↑↓
 
 Now for countdown!
The lights are turned on!
 The tram is packed.
 We walk 1.2 miles to look at the lights
 We gets back to the B&B and we can see the Tower....still.
 Now to enjoy that bed again...
