Just Don't Need This!

No good deed ever goes unpublished - Clare Boothe Lace
Welcome to my Friday 🎈
I had to go downstairs at 4am as it was too hot in our bedroom.
I was back upstairs later to enjoy hugs and brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet πŸ’‹ before he went to work.
I was dropping off son at work early.
While I was waiting, I dug out the much needed Webbs free coffee vouchers!
Once son was ready,
We left the house.
Drops son off.
Now onwards to Webbs.
Someone else parked by the B3 sign.
There is always next time!
Toast, coffee and chat time!
I found a long handled dustpan and brush on the sale stand.
(Looks a lot like my old Dunelm one)
Said goodbye to my friend and back home I went.
I put two loads of washing on the line to dry.
Late lunch.
Then to get two magic bags of food from Morrisons.
Loads of veg for this week to eat!
As soon as I get home to unpack the bags.
Son needed picking up from Sainsburys.
Out I go again....
First a car coming towards me and to swirve back onto his side of the road. Next a pink smart car was sat on my arse on the way to Sainsburys!
Picked up son from Sainsburys, then I had more fun going back home.
A BMW was in the wrong lane and pulled in front of me, then he decided to slow down on the dual carriageway.I overtook him, tried to get back into the inside lane and no car would let me!
I carried onto the next junction, when a red Audi overtakes me on the slip road and then pulls in front me when we get on to the dual carriageway. Once I get off onto the next slip road a car appeared sat on my arse until he turns right at the roundabout, I turn left.
I was so glad to get back home!!!!
Time for tea!
Hubby dropped son off at football.
Then he carried onto Bromsgrove with the younger son to do this week's food shopping.
I tidied up the house and watered the plants.
He picked up son from football.
Then we went out to get some more food.
One was from a M&S Petrol Station and the other was from Waitrose.
On the way out, someone left their glasses on the bench...
Back home to unpack the goodies...
We put it all away.
Quick look at today's newspaper.
We watched the news and turned the internet off.
Younger son didn't take kindly to that and started to threaten me!
His laptop and mobile was took off him.
I had a few stern words for him.
The internet is going to be rationed starting Monday, let's hope the threats stop soon.
Now to enjoy what's left of the Friday Feeling🎈

Pressing The Button!

I started  out with nothing and I've still got most of it left - Groucho Marx
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎑
Nice warm hug to start the day!
Brew with breakfast.
Dressed.
Gets the kids up for school.
I give out all sloppy wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ to everyone.
It's looking quite nice out for a change!
Even the big big sunglasses came out!
Time for the summer coat to go on!
While I was waiting to turn my lights on, it started to spit with rain...
Tree Pic.
Now for the fun to start....
There was a big hole further down the road, which was causing traffic problems...
Hopefully the hole will be filled in later on!
Nearly all the car drivers stopped,
Which amazed me for a Monday!
No sign of the lambo today :(
Finished in one piece!
I got the newspaper on the way home.
Managed to park outside the shop without any problems for a change!
Back home.
Much needed coffee!
Kenny came out for a quick play.
Once the Banana Bread went into the oven.
I got to work with a Butternut Squash.
I cut it in half.
Fried some mushrooms, garlic and peppers.
Added to the butternut squash and put it in the oven for later.
Next was to write yesterday's blog post.
After the fun I had of not be able to clean the toilets at work on Friday.
The emails battle started.
"I use to much toilet cleaner!"
I was told....
"Funny I have to clean 26 toilets everynight, so I have to have a night off from cleaning them?"I replied.
He even asked if I wanted to do some overtime next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No sign of my tax they took off me last month, go and tell the tax office, I was told, I replied to that, I already have, and you shouldn't have put me on the BR code.
He has move my probation meeting forward to next month instead of July.
I wanted the Monday not the Tuesday, as I can give him the keys back and be home before my hubby gets home....
I must have pushed his button as he chose not to answer any more emails after I sent that.
Light lunch time.
Now onto the afternoon shift.
It has stopped raining when I got into Sexy Beast.
On the way, a black Audi was doing 25 m.p.h in a 40 limit. As the next available safe time I overtook it, there was a convoy forming when I looked back in the distance.
Those dark clouds are worrying↑
I still put on summer coat...
The rain kept off \o/
Some of the parents said 2 of the 3 schools are closed on Friday for a TE day.
As the High School is open, I still have to work....
Finished in one piece!
Back home.
Coffee and crumpets are needed↑

I see the Banana bread is being liked↓
Off I go with my rain mac and a handful of 60s Cds...
While I was on the way, I was nearly stuck for 20 minutes behind a car doing 20 m.p.h in a 50 limit. At the right moment and Safest, I overtook it. The convoy behind it was well long in the distance.
Back to the singing along..
I load up the skip with both mop buckets.
Hoping my vacuum cleaner will be sorted out tomorrow....
Finished on time...
Now back onto the singing along...
Back home.
Now for tea.
Hubby is visiting his dad.
He will have his half tomorrow for lunch.
Time to chill with a look in today's newspaper.
Sleep Tea followed...
I kept the bed warm for when hubby came back....
I tried to keep awake......Zzzzzz

Sunday 7 February 2021

Counting To Ten!

I'm not a snob.Ask anyone. Well,anybody who matters.
- Simon LeBon
Welcome to my Sunday πŸ‘Ύ
Warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Had a lie-in listening to the radio in bed.
After a while, it's time to get up!
I need a few items for tonight's meal.
I'm giving Asda a miss and trying Morrisons.
Taking Sexy Beast out for a ride.
We only needed 8 items.
It was so packed with people, that each till that was open, that was a queue of 10+ people down in each aisle. We were in the queue for the self service. People were thinking it was a  good idea to jump in front of us who were queueing!
By the time we got to the front of the queue, I had enough of the queue jumpers....
"The queue for this till is at the back of that long queue:"I said.
Pointing to the long queue behind me.
Three people took the hint.
As we unloaded our shopping onto the belt, a couple with their grown up daughters jumped ahead of the queue and unloaded their shopping on the next self service till. The man with the earphones tried to get into the act, until I told him where the actually queue was!
I was so glad to get out of there.
This was worst than shopping at Christmas!
Surely there are limits on how many customers you can have in a store!
I got a takeaway coffee and the woman serving me, told me:
"People were queueing up since 9.30am to get in here!"
Get's back to Sexy Beast, to enjoy the lovely coffee!
Finally back home!
Light lunch without soup today!
Now to start on the dessert for tonight.
I tried not to repeat what I did last week with the lemons....
Once done, let it set in the fridge.
Just in time for Tea at 3.
I wrote yesterday's blog post
&
Added some great tunes for my Jukebox on Twitter too.
Tea was served up.
I went to serve up the dessert,
When trying to take off the cling film...
It was crash!
Good job I had spares!
Lemon Posset!
Quick read of today's newspaper.
I missed off a big Birthday for someone yesterday.
